We stayed here for our son’s wedding. Four comfortable bedrooms worked well as we had other family and friends staying with us. Plenty of bathrooms too. The house includes a nice grill and a wonderful porch - we hosted other family and friends who were in early - grilled hamburgers made for a fun family event. Then we went bowling - the house is close to everything. Also has a nice washer dryer which came in handy. Bonus points - game room downstairs with lots of games and activities. Perfect home for mountain vacation!

I stayed with a group of friends for a long weekend in Ashville. This house was perfect for us! We all had our own rooms and space but were able to spent time together eating, talking and making memories. We all enjoyed our stay!

great layout for groups with separated sleeping arrangements and several common areas to gather. the downstairs bar with a full-sized fridge is clutch, and the patio is spacious with plenty of seating! Scott was so accommodating and responsive, would definitely recommend!

Girls weekend. House is clean, beds are comfortable, downstairs den is cozy for relaxing! We didn’t use the kitchen during our stay. The house is close to downtown and the spas we visited. Scott is a great host! Will rent again in the future.

We loved our stay at River Mist, house was clean and comfortable. Coming from Tucson, AZ we enjoyed all the green around us and loved the space in the back yard, even found the hidden statue. :-) Location was good, close to downtown and the Biltmore. Enjoyed the snacks!

We loved our stay! Plenty of space inside and out with everything we needed. Host is incredibly communicative. Very close to hiking and downtown Asheville (just be prepared to wait awhile for rideshare). Definitely recommend for large groups.

We stayed at River Mist with our four adult children and our dog, and this place was wonderful! There was so much room for everyone. We could spend time together in the gathering room on the main floor, at the dining room table, outside on the two decks, or at the fire pit. There was also space for everyone to retire to their own rooms at the end of the day. The home was beautifully furnished and well-stocked with all essentials, including extras like cooking spices, all kitchen supplies, games, a hammock, and a basketball. The fenced yard was perfect for our dog. The location was a short drive to downtown Asheville. We had a great family vacation here. We highly recommend River Mist! Thank you!

Our multi-generational family (6 adults/2 children) had a wonderful stay. We had plenty of room and the kitchen had enough dishes for us to cook and enjoy a few meals in. Each room has a TV (even though we didn't use them often) and there are several game options in the basement. Wifi worked great. Only about a 10 minute drive to downtown. The owner was very good at responding to questions. Would definitely stay here again.

This property was a perfect fit for our family of 7. Plenty of space with separation. The location is close to downtown Asheville and within 30 minutes of the airport. The host was gracious, accommodating, and quick to respond to all needs. This home is nestled into a quiet neighborhood with pleasant views of trees, walking path, and woods. Waking up in the mornings to birds singing and squirrels racing up and down the trees just off of the deck was a plus. It is close to the river and great for our early morning runner. If you are looking for a quiet beautiful retreat after a day of exploring beautiful Asheville....this is the place!

This place is great! It’s clean with all of the amenities and plenty of space for the whole family. The owners are very attentive and easy to coordinate with. Location is perfect, just 5 minutes north of downtown Asheville and a quick drive from the surrounding towns like Weaverville. We will definitely be staying here again — what a great experience!

This property was amazing—very clean, well stocked, roomy, tucked in a natural setting yet very accessible to the city. We were a family gathering of 3 generations—grandparents, adult children, and grandchildren. The home was spacious for each family to have their own area, yet could congregate in living room and basement was very comfortably. None of us felt we were falling over each other. Scott was very accessible during the booking process and during our stay, if any questions arose. The entire group highly recommended this home. If we are in the Asheville area again, we would love to stay here!
