Great time in the Smoky Mountains

The house is beautifully decorated and stocked with every appliance and kitchen accessory for you to cook in and stay. The views are amazing. Big family time in Sunset Sanctuary!

Just Perfect!

This place is the best short rental we have ever stayed at. I am not exaggerating when I say that it’s the most well appointed property out there. They have thought of everything - smallest of kitchen things you may need, to the many pillows and blankets throughout the house, the many recommendation guides, and actual good books in the study. We made our own meals most days, had food and groceries delivered some days, and one evening had a private chef over. Even the chef was stunned at how the house really had everything they’d need!! Ours was a group of 10 - ages ranging from 18 months old to 76 years old- and it was perfect for everyone. It’s minutes from all the fun stuff in Asheville but still tucked away enough that you’ll see the most beautiful sunsets on the mountains and occasionally say hi to bears (who really just mind their own business) on your way to the house. We spent a lot of time on the deck and in that screened porch making memories as a family. It’s even close to the blue ridge parkway to hop on and take a scenic drive. We will be coming back. I highly recommend this place for a complete experience in NC.

Great getaway

The house was the perfect place for a wonderful long weekend getaway with a group of 6 friends. Very close to downtown Asheville but far away enough to enjoy the quiet of the mountains and the beautiful sunsets. The house has everything you'd need and wonderful gathering spaces. Give it a 10/10. We'll be back. While not an issue for us, some of you might care that there were some lagging wifi incidents. We saw that as a plus, actually. Mother nature never let us down!

Mountain retreat

We enjoyed our stay in Asheville at sunset sanctuary. The home is truly lovely. The outdoor space and views were beautiful. The kitchen is well equipped and stocked with coffee which was very good. The beds were very comfortable and linens were nice. There were lots of plush throw blankets throughout the house. Laundry is on second floor with most of the bedrooms and that was convenient. We loved our stay in this home.

Perfect Birthday Celebration

This was my 70th birthday celebration with my whole family from all over - 7 adults, a 6 month old, one year old and a 2 1/2 year old. I couldn’t have asked for more - the house was amazing - fabulous view of the mountains, close to the town and spacious enough for everyone to have their own space. The main bedroom was stunning! The kitchen was large and very well equipped with everything you would need. There was a closed in porch where we spent a lot of time. I would definitely recommend this property and would love to come back again!

Fantastic Home and View!

This house is beautiful. The view was outstanding - especially around sunset time! Exceptionally clean. The house had a great layout - plenty of room for a family of 8 adults to gather, as well as have their privacy. The kitchen was probably the best equipped kitchen I have ever experienced in a VRBO rental. We all appreciated the attention to detail and comfort for renters. We even got to see a few black bears in the area which were fun to see/watch (from a distance)! Definitely highly recommend this home to rent & will consider returning again in the future. An exceptionally positive experience on all levels.

All Around Amazing!

Beautiful home and one of the best views in all of Asheville! We had a group with an age range of 88 all the way down to 15 months and the property met every need and exceeded every expectation. The kitchen is the best stocked/appointed kitchen I've ever seen in a rental home. Well done!
