The shuttle bus stop to the other resorts is a short walk from the accommodation. Alan is a good host and is very friendly and obliging. He picked us up on short request when we picked up our ski gear on the first day and dropped us off where we wanted to drop our ski gear on the last day. “The staff are friendly and ready to assist. The house is equipped with digital security system, has floor heating, and most importantly, it's clean with well-maintained appliances. I would highly recommend this place to friends and relatives visiting Nagano.”

Breakfasts and dinners were good and the lounge/dining room was a comfortable place to relax after riding. It was great value for the money. “Lovely staff who genuinely wanted us to enjoy our stay. Very comfortable beds in basic but clean rooms. Great common area with nice amenities. We felt very at home. While the location is great for skiing - lift is right across the street, it was very hard to get into town, to grocery, etc. ”

“ほとんどのお客さんは外国人です。オーナーの人柄でしょうか、皆さんフレンドリーで、私たちも連日、カナディアンやオージーと日本酒を酌み交わし、とても楽しい旅になりました。基本、自炊ですが、基本的な調味料、調理道具は揃っており、数部屋あるリビングでたべます。その際、他のお客さんとコミュニケーションをとるのですが、私は基本英語が喋れませんが、何の問題もありませんでした。機会が有ればまた再訪したくなる宿です。超オススメ！”

“ホテルは土足厳禁ですが、非常にきれいでお風呂も大きくて非常に快適。八方尾根はスキーヤーの聖地なんでボーダーが行くのはおすすめしませんが、このホテルは本当におすすめ。駐車場もずっと水が出てて凍結などの心配もなし。部屋もきれいで広い。すばらしかった。”

“Our stay at Hakuba House was incredibly homely. Grant and his team are exceptional and went above and beyond to make our stay in Hakuba the best it could be. It was great to be able to come home after a day on the slopes and relax by the fire with a drink from the bar. Hakuba house is conveniently located near to shuttles and restaurants, and the staff were happy to drop us to dinner and make reservations for restaurants and Onsens. ”
