“Opposite a beachside park this motel is extremely comfortable, spacious and very relaxing after a long day of driving. The bed was the most comfortable I've slept in in the last 10 days road tripping in NSW and Qld. I had the best night's sleep since leaving home.”

“Room was quite adequate, however starting to get worn. Nothing around close for a coffee. I’m not big on instant coffee which is what’s offered.”

“Couldn't order diner because the kitchen closed early, and the male staff member was very rude and unprofessional about it. He then closed the bar early, even while there was a line of people still checking in, and waiting to order. Then to top off the rude and unprofessional staff member, the bed felt like it had been acquired from an op shop 20 years ago and dressed with linen that stunk. Very disappointed”

“Staff were so helpful on my recent stay. I thought I'd booked 5 nights, however it turned out that I only booked 4 nights. Staff were so accommodating and understanding when trying to find me an alternative room at short notice as they were fully booked. Everything worked out in the end and I'm truly grateful for their patience and understanding.”

“Nice, clean and usefull motel. Within walking distance from the main restaurants in Mackay. Helpfull and kind staff, made our stay perfect.”

“The property suited my needs. Safe location, easy check in, comfortable room with a good bathroom. Renovations made the car park difficult to move around but noise was minimal.”

“Tired hotel that they are half heartedly renovating. Housekeeping were very disinterested in servicing our room. The furniture and fittings are worn. Breakfast was inedible - we made a complaint about the charcoal toast and they didn’t care. Only saved by its very convenient location.”

“Need to wash their blankets and curtains. Was very dusty smelling and the blankets were stained and dirty. Unusual as I have stated here before and this was not the case.”

“2nd stay there and a great spot, room was not directly in the afternoon sun, so the room is not so boiling hot that the AC couldn’t cope,unlike the last place we stayed at across the road starting with an O, on our last visit to MacKay.”
