“I was home by myself with my kids for the weekend and wanted to do something fun with them. We had an absolute BLAST! Let me just say… the view over the creek is GORGEOUS. It was like out of a magazine and when we arrived. I kid you not… a bald eagle flew out of the trees and soared around me and my children when we walked up to the creek, skimming the water and soaring around us. It was AMAZING.So that's how our trip began.. And it was fun times to follow with fishing, creek jumping, tubing,...

“I thought this place was amazing! It had gorgeous views, the lawn was mowed, the stars came out at night..Too bad it didn't have a hot tub! But it was amazing! ”

“We had a wonderful relaxing, weekend at the cabin, very clean, nice treats and staples in the kitchen.Absolutely loved the backyard, woods, fire pit and grill. Hiked the fall trails, highly recommend but not for small kids. Beautiful park, great ice cream stand outside the park. Lots of wildlife, we saw an albino deer!! Favorite part, the silence at night, a much needed respite from city living. ”

“House was perfect for what we were looking for. Able to easily walk on and off ski slopes. House was a bit hard to find in the dark. A few more board games would have been nice for the evening but my family and I really enjoyed our time in the house. ”

“We enjoyed the property so much. The house is beautiful and very clean. We loved the kitchen. It was fully stocked with everything (including spices). There is much room for relaxing. It was great to sit in front of the windows, enjoy the view of the lake and mountains, and read a book. We were in close proximity to Ricketts Glen and was able to enjoy a couple of hikes enjoying all the beautiful waterfalls. We had lots of laughs and fun and relaxation.”

“The home was beautiful. We were unaware there were two other rental cabins on the property in close proximity. Just a heads up would have been better. Additionally, the layout was unclear- only one bedroom was downstairs. there is a unique spiral staircase (beautiful) that was challenging for the older adults in the party to navigate, so they had to sleep in downstairs bedroom and on the couch. We had a great time!”

“We had a great stay at Darlene's place, only wish we could have spent more time. Very convenient to ski resorts. It was snowing when we arrived and having the ability to make a real fire (lots of wood provided!) was ideal! The teens loved the hot tub and the games upstairs. Thanks for having us! ”
