La ubicación es alejada, bastante incómoda porque hay que ir en coche al pueblo. La habitación pequeña pero la cama muy cómoda. El baño enano. Desayuno muy bien.

A great place to stay in Bantry
Thérèse was a great hostess and a wonderful cook. Gorgeous breakfasts of eggs salmon, fresh fruit, good coffee and yummy brown bread some of which I came away with.

Welcoming and friendly. Compliant with Covid regulations. Accommodating when we needed a slightly earlier breakfast. Pleasant, comfortable and clean. Lovely breakast with choices. Would stay there again if visiting Bantry again.

Très bon accueil avec un thé et du gâteau. chambre de taille correct avec un 3ème lit et salle de bain très petite mais propre et avec ce qu'il faut. bon petit déjeuner avec plusieurs options (oeufs bacon, saumon...). Rue qui semble assez passante en journée mais calme le soir. proche du centre (10 à 15mn à pied)

Owner Terese was very welcoming and friendly, and provided us with a lovely breakfast. Handy location, and we were able to walk to town for dinner. Our room was cramped and was the one in the house without an en suite bathroom.

Exceptionally clean establishment with lovely and friendly hosts. Superb food in a quiet beautiful location by the Wild Atlantic Way. Easy access up to Killarney National Park and the Ring of Kerry. Must see areas of natural beauty and nice people.

Had a lovely triple room downstairs which was large & spotless & very comfy beds. Great shower & plenty of towels & bathroom products. Breakfast was amazing & the home made bread was divine. I also had plunger coffee & homemade lemon drizzle cake on arrival. Really lovely hosts.

Rien à redire ! Accueil très sympathique avec au choix jus d'orange frais, café ou thé accompagné(s) d'un cake fait maison. Notre chambre n'était pas très grande et la salle de bain était attenante, mais rien de gênant en soi. Le tout très propre. Petit déjeuner convivial et copieux. Very pleasant stay.
We had a very pleasant stay. Hosts Therese and Sean were very helpful and T’s breakfasts excellent. Best porridge I’ve had for ages. My only comment, which I did mention to Therese, was that our room was just a bit too snug to be a double and needed a blind to screen you from the front road. Thinner people than me probably wouldn’t mind!

Fijne B&B met goed ontbijt
Wij hadden de familiekamer. De kamer was heel schoon, de bedden prima en er was voldoende opbergruimte. de badkamer is wel erg krap en de douche zelf had wat kuren. Maar buiten dat is het een heel fijne B&B met een supervriendelijke host. Het zelfgebakken Ierse brood in de ochtend is heerlijk net als de rest van het ontbijt. De B&B is op loopafstand van het centrum waar leuke restaurantjes aan de haven zijn. Aanrader!

Super gastvrij en vriendelijk. Aanrader!
Bij aankomst werden we door de eigenares getrakteerd op een stukje zelfgebakken Guinness cake, heerlijk. Bij het Full Irish Breakfast, gewoon ook de black pudding doen! Die wordt door hun lokale slager gemaakt en is echt super. Beter dan ik elders geproefd heb. Lieve mensen maar dat is ook Ierland in het algemeen. Als ik nog terug kom in Bantry, en het is een mooi stadje, dan ga ik zeker weer hier heen.

Warm & Helpful Host, Beautiful Home
My mom and I had a wonderful stay at Doire Liath Bed & Breakfast during our recent visit to Bantry, County Cork, Ireland! The home is beautifully decorated and comfortable and conveniently located just 5 minutes away by car or 10 minutes away on foot from the center of Bantry. We had the large room at the back of the house, with one twin and one double bed. This was a very quiet and comfortable room. Rooms at the front will be less quiet, as they are closer to the main road. Breakfast was wonderful, with many options from which to choose, including a selection of cold cereals, fresh fruit and yogurt, as well as eggs, sausages, bacon, etc. Therese, the host, is warm, friendly and extremely helpful. Regrettably, I was sick for the first half of our stay there, and Therese was very compassionate, level-headed and helpful. She called the nearby clinic for us when I needed to see the doctor. Later, when I needed a different prescription, she called the clinic again and even went to the pharmacy to pick it up! She went above and beyond and we were very grateful to have such a caring host. When you visit Bantry, be sure to book accommodation at this pleasant B&B - you will love it! I am including a photo of the lovely view from the B&B, looking southeast. Nancy & Elly, Colorado

Cosy and welcoming!
Sean and Theresa were so warm and welcoming and made our stay really pleasant. So glad that we decided to stay here, it was very cosy and felt like we experienced the true Irish hospitality. Greated with tea coffee and cake, delicious breakfast every morning with homemade soda bread and black pudding. Definitely recommend a stay here.

Very nice and cosy!
Very welcoming and nice host, good breakfast, cosy room (our favorite in Ireland out of 3 B&Bs we stayed in). Little issue with water pressure on the second floor but that was really minor and didn't bother us since all the rest was perfect. Walking distance to downtown and pier. Kids loved it as they got to meet the house dogs in the backyard. Pity we booked only one night.
