La casa Honeybee fue construida en la década de 1920 en un callejón sin salida residencial durante todo el año y fue completamente renovada en 2007 abriendo el plano de la planta baja a un estilo familiar más funcional y moderno. Bar Harbor is one of the most special places to visit in New England. This rental made us feel truly at home. We comfortably stayed as a group of 8 women. We loved the walkability to downtown and accessibility to Acadia. Truly a trip we will never forget. We already ache to return…

We had a great visit in Bar Harbor and the property made it possible. Perfect location (within a 100 yard walk to the main grocery store), a short walk into the main section of town for restaurants, bakeries, and ice cream parlors and other shops, and a two car parking space for cars. Very convenient to visit Acadia for beautiful hikes from easy to strenuous. The home is very comfortable and met all of our family's needs. A large kitchen, comfortable living room and comfortable bedrooms.We highly recommend it.

Perfect location

Perfect spot! Great location- short walk to grocery store and all the quaint Bar Harbor shops and restaurants. Acadia is just a quick drive away, too. We were very happy with our stay and will return for sure

The house is in the perfect spot in Bar Harbor. You can walk to restaurants and shopping. It’s only a few minutes from Acadia National Park. It was perfect for our family, very clean and comfortable. Host very nice.

Family Stay at the HoneyBee

Perfect location for our family vacation in Bar Harbor. Walking distance to everything but on a nice quiet street. House had everything you could need and the softest towels!

Such a convenient location in Bar Harbor. Easy walk to restaurants, grocery store, and shopping. A five minute walk to the village green to catch the Island Explorer buses into Acadia. The house was nicely updated and very clean. We loved the bee theme. The mattresses were soft (in case you have a preference for soft or firm). The washer and dryer were both clean and large. Shampoo/conditioner/body wash were provided in both bathrooms. Would definitely stay again!

Charming house in a perfect location

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The house was even more charming than it looked in the pictures. There were oodles of clean fluffy towels, a very well stocked kitchen (spices, dishes, pots and pans, etc) and we were right in the middle of Bar Harbor. And Jen, the owner, was very helpful and proactive on communications. A great stay!

Great location

House is walking distance to everything. Nice 3 bedroom house, everything was in good condition and worked. Quiet street, very little traffic. Definitely would stay there again

Great place!

Honey Bee house was a great place to stay! The house was clean and comfortable and conveniently located. We walked downtown every day and shopped for groceries at the supermarket at right behind the neighborhood. Jen was wonderful about checking in before and during our stay. I would definitely stay at Honey Bee House again!

Nice House, great location.

Loved the location. Easy to walk the town from house. Parking spot is nice to have. Very cute house. Bathrooms clean. Communication with owner very easy. Definitely recommend for a getaway.

Convenient Home to everything Acadia and Bar Harbor

Lovely home right downtown Bar Harbour. Located right behind the Hannaford's and a quick walk to all the wonderful shops, restaurants and bars. Acadia is a quick drive . Very scenic. Home was comfortable and clean. Would recommend.

Great location in Bar Harbor, comfortable

Loved that we could stay parked at the house and walk to the Bar Harbor restaurants and shops. Very short drive to Acadia National Park. The beds were very comfortable; fluffy towels; well-stacked kitchen (not that we cooked much). One note we left to the hosts was it may be helpful to include a small ice chest for guests to use to bring lunches into the park if interested.

Great location! Walking distance to all the fun downtown!

This house is in a perfect location right behind the grocery store and a two minute walk to downtown. We had issues with the TV but the owners were close by and came and worked on the TV remote for us.

Location

Honeybee is the perfect location for exploring Bar Harbor and everything it offers. The 2 parking spaces are highly valuable! It’s in a quiet neighborhood, so maybe don’t invite the loud friend or family member, at least not if you like to hang outside in the evening. All in all we had a great stay! The only reason it didn’t earn 5 stars for me was due to the quality of beds, but I have really high standards.

Hidden gem in the heart of Bar Harbor

This was truly a great place to stay for our family vacation. Plenty of room for 6 adults to hang out and chill. Super close to a grocery store and in literal walking distance to the wonderful shops and restaurants Bar Harbor has to offer. East check in and check out and Jennifer was super responsive. Always checking in to make sure we had what we needed. Will definitely look for this spot on our next trip to Bar Harbor. Thank you for sharing your home with us! The Hazard/Gonzalez/Johnson families

Could be improved for the price

The location was nice. Close to grocery and walk to town. Neighbors across the street were very nice The couches may have been replaced since last year and hope they were as they need to be. Sank into a hole / sat very low and weren’t comfortable. Had to go to Walmart to buy a fry pan as the pans there are old and dented up, rusty and looked gross and didn’t want to use them. The clam steamer pot only had one handle. Washer and dryer were down a narrow flight of old steps in the basement. Not HE but worked. I asked so I could bring correct detergent, if they were HE and Jen “couldn’t remember” if they were or weren’t. Just disappointing overall for what it cost to rent. Was not cleaned up outside - weeds galore. Sun porch faced the sun all day so was extremely hot and couldn’t enjoy being out there during the day. The top bunk bed was not made up, which was one if the reasons we stayed there, so my daughter and grandaughter could share the room but have separate large beds. Jen said I should have contacted her, but why wouldn’t it just have been made up? Again, just didn’t live up to the expectations of what was advertised versus what was there.
