Light Oak Leaf Cottage

  • Esta hermosa casa espaciosa tiene 2 habitaciones grandes y 1 habitación más pequeña, con 2 baños completos. También cuenta con aire acondicionado para esos calurosos días de verano y una estufa de pellets (con respaldo de horno) para esas noches frías. Direct TV y acceso a internet WiFi están disponibles en la casa. Esta cabaña cuenta con un plano de planta abierto y acogedor con muchas ventanas. Ha sido completamente renovado y actualizado. Una hermosa terraza acristalada junto al comedor ofrece un lugar para relajarse.
    Convenientemente ubicado a una corta distancia en automóvil del bullicioso centro de Bar Harbor, esta tranquila casa se encuentra a lo largo de la ruta del autobús para los autobuses gratuitos de Island Explorer. Deje su automóvil atrás y súbase a un autobús para viajar gratis a cualquier lugar de Mount Desert Island y al Parque Nacional Acadia. Nuestra cabaña se encuentra en un gran lote rodeado de robles y se encuentra a poca distancia del océano. Varios campamentos populares y libras de langosta están a 1 milla, y los alquileres de kayak de mar están a una milla. Loved the house! It was very spacious, and had everything we needed. Loved the central location for Bar Harbor, Mt Desert Island, Acadia National Park, and Ellsworth. Would definitely stay here again!

Our family had a great time staying at this roomy cottage close to all the Bar Harbor and Acadia attractions. Tom and Rita are great hosts and responsive. The house is clean, fully equipped and comfortable. Check-in and check-out instructions were clear. Staying at this property made our entire vacation memorable and relaxing.

Now this is a 5 star home.

Very clean, overabundance of kitchen appliances, even a colander and popover tin which we used, Roomy, nightlights, places for luggage, bathroom counter space, large bath soaps, laundry supplies, room for family time... We loved our stay and would do it again.

Everything was exactly as stated. Enjoyed the location, away from the busy Bar Harbor but close enough to enjoy Acadia. Highly recommend the Bar Harbor Lobster Pound. Best food for price we had the whole trip.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this VRBO. We had 6 adults and loved having a place we could sit and talk, play games, fix meals, and of course have enough beds to fit us all. The house was to the side of a pretty busy road, but it was blocked by trees and was secluded. It is a little ways from Bar Harbor and Acadia, but only takes a short drive(15ish) to get there. We found plenty of restaurants nearby--" The Travelin Lobster" is literally next door and we walked there a couple of times. Everything in the house was nicely done and it was comfortable and clean. We only had one small hick up. We couldn't find the email for the original reservation (made months in advance) and so just looked up check in and check out info on the VRBO website/App--it gave us the wrong times. Think it might help if an email or text was sent right before or it be listed clearly on the in-house sheet. Anyway, I felt badly that we were a little late checking out. Would suggest hosts contact VBRO and correct times. Over all a great stay and would gladly stay again.

Super Clean! Many extras!

Super clean as advertised. Lots of extra amenities (like a full compliment of kitchen utensils). Very comfortable and perfectly located between Bar Harbor and Ellsworth. Would definitely stay here again if back in this area.

We loved this place. It was immaculate and very well supplied with everything needed. It feels like it is isolated even though everything we wanted to was no more than 15 to 25 min away. We found 3 or 4 great food places within 10 min. Tom was very response to a couple of small issues we had while there.

Would stay there again

Clean, well-appointed house with no surprises located 15 minutes from Bar Harbor and the main part of Acardia. Lobster stand and coffee shop next door, plus good hikes in the less-visited parts of the park. Great if you don't want to be in the middle of the things but close by.
