    My family of 9 stayed at 25 Pines property for a total of 7 nights during the COVID19 pandemic. The property manager, Paula, was communicative and quickly responsive regarding what was expected of us to abide by Maine’s current travel restrictions. The home itself was very clean upon arrival and check-in was seamless and convenient. Location was perfect - nestled in a quiet and shaded neighborhood, we felt very relaxed and took advantage of the opportunity to play cards on the covered deck and steam a lobster dinner to enjoy on the picnic table. It is a short drive (less than 10-15 minutes) to the sights of Bar Harbor, entrance to Acadia National Park, and grocery store. I also extend thanks to the property owner, Mr. Douglas, for stopping by to ask if he could take any trash out for us. He was kind enough to tell us of a good place to swim at Echo Lake. I don’t think we could have picked a better place to enjoy our first vacation to Maine. We had a great experience from start to finish and would recommend 25 Pines to anyone considering renting this property.

This house is a great place for a family/friend reunion. It's very spacious and comfortable. Also, not far from Acadia and Bar Harbor, but it feels very quiet and private.

Beautiful and comfortable cabin

We had a wonderful stay! Clean, comfortable, and lovely. Our family loved being able to walk to the beach! Hosts were very friendly and helpful with local recommendations.

Cozy, clean home with lots of room for everyone. Hosts were super helpful and responsive to all of our needs. Short drive into Bar Harbor with shuttle service a couple of blocks away. Plenty of outdoor space to relax. Thank you!

Ladies Adventure Trip to Maine

Susan was a wonderful host for our group. Cabin was cozy, clean, and plenty of room for 6 of us. Very much enjoyed our stay and would come again and recommend to others!

Great Family Trip

Perfect stay in Bar Harbor

We can't say enough about our wonderful stay here. The location, the hosts, and the house itself were all fantastic. If we return to Bar Harbor again (we hope to!) - we'll definitely try and book here! Thank you again!

Spacious, nicely maintained, great location. Excellent supply of toilet paper and laundry detergent. Could have used condiments, but we brought our own anyway. Might be good to advise guests that the water has a strong taste.

Loved it!

We loved our stay here - house was clean and cute and a terrific location. We had 9 people - ages 8 to 71. This place was a great value, compared to other rental properties in the area. Highly recommend! We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect family vacation

This is the perfect house to visit Acadia, very close to the Hull’s cove visitor Center and the ocean (there is a rocky beach at the end of the street). The house was very clean and had plenty of room for our two families. Sand beach was the perfect place to swim in the Ocean.

This cabin has been a wonderful spot for our end of June family vacation. Size is perfect! The review that explains the layout of the cabin is spot on! The kitchen is stocked with essentials just enough to get done what’s needed. But good for not overflowing cupboards/drawers. Seating in the kitchen is something I think could be better…… more comfortable. Plenty of seating but very hard on the “bottoms”. The room we slept in had a comfortable bed, and I was told that all the other beds were also comfortable……. Except for the two twin beds. The adults sleeping in them said they were a little hard. Probably ok for kiddos. Morning coffee out on the porch was so relaxing and peaceful. The neighborhood is wonderful. We all walked down to the water in search of sea glass and treasures. Some even got adventurous and hiked down to the cave. The host/hostess are on site and quick to answer any message sent. Very friendly and attentive and we loved any visit we could get from “Butch”. I would definitely book this spot again if our travels bring us back this way. Out of 5 stars I give it an 8!!

Wonderful family vacation home

This was a perfect home for our large family. It is spacious, clean and offers all the amenities we needed. The location has lots of privacy and outdoor space for campfires each night. It's a short walk to the ocean and an easy drive to nearby restaurants and downtown Bar Harbor abd Acadia. Our hosts were wonderful and accomodating. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Maine.

The home is so comfortable and there was plenty of room for all of us. Susan, our hostess, was so warm and responsive to our questions. Cant wait to go back!!

Wonderful Time

We had a wonderful time at the Lovely Cabin. We comfortably fit 7 adults with room to spare. We were so close to everything including Acadia National Park. The hosts were so accommodating (and their restaurant Mainely Meats was one of the best BBQs we have been too). Thanks for the wonderful stay!!

This was a great place to stay! The hosts were very commutative and friendly. The proximity to the beach was fantastic, just a short lovely walk down the road. The kitchen was well equipped. All the rooms were large and spacious. I will say the lighting in the house is very dim and in our room In particular, the bed was not very comfortable. The bathrooms were spacious and well stocked with toilet paper and towels. The check in/out process was probably the easiest in any property we’ve ever stayed in. The proximity to Bar Harbor and Acadia NP is just perfect! Susan and Doug were gracious hosts and if we are ever in the area again, we would 100% stay here again!

Great place

Our family loved everything about this property. Kids loved to walk down to the bay and throw rocks in it everyday. Secluded yet close to everything. Susan and Doug were very helpful and responded quickly. Highly recommend

Great Stay

House is in a great location, easy to get to the park and Bar Harbor, but quieter than staying in town would be. The property owners have their house on the same property, so are close if there are problems. We did not have any problems while there. I would stay again.
