The Collection Barcelona welcomes you to this modern and bright 4 bedroom / 2 bathroom flat, located in Poble Sec area, perfect for those traveling with children or business groups. The neighborhood is safe and family-friendly with plenty to do on your doorstep. The apartment is located next to Avinguda Paralel, 15 minutes away from Plaza de España.
The Space:
Welcome to my 120 m2 bright and triplex apartment located in Poble Sec, an ideal spot for art and culture lovers, and conveniently located next to Eixample neighbourhood.
⚠️ VERY IMPORTANT Please note the apartment is located in a residential building, where neighbors live here all year around and it is our obligation to respect their rest. Walls are very thin and other residents of the building very sensitive to noises. Please make sure before confirming your reservation you can adhere to the simple House Rules that are detailed below. Failure to accept and follow those will result on a monetary sanction and eviction from the property with no refund for the remaining nights.
APARTMENT DISTRIBUTION:
The unit is accessed directly from the street, right next to Carrer de Blai, a cheerful pedestrian area full of very nice restaurants. The apartment is divided on three floors, and has capacity for up to 12 people distributed in 4 bedrooms.
1) Ground floor:
- Living room, dinning area and open kitchen with double sofa bed
- Bedroom 1: 1 Double bed (master bedroom with ensuite bathroom)
2) Lower floor:
- Bedroom 2: 2 Individual beds
- Laundry area
3) Upper floor:
- Bedroom 3: 2 Individual beds
- Bedroom 4: Bunk bed
- Office area with a double sofa bed
- Full bathroom

The Neighborhood:
Sant Antoni is a neighborhood in the Eixample district of Barcelona. Its non-official centre, the marketplace of the same name—designed by Antoni Rovira i Tries and built between 1872 and 1882—is one of the oldest and most popular in the city, especially with the secondhand book stalls that surround the building Sunday mornings. It is bordered by the neighbourhoods of the L’Antiga Esquerra de l’Eixample, the Raval, and Poble Sec. The streets of Sant Antoni follow the grid pattern prevalent in all of Eixample, except for a central thoroughfare, the Avinguda del Mistral built on the site of an important medieval road which led out of Barcelona. Another well-known landmark of Sant Antoni is the bar called Els Tres Tombs, right next to the market.
Getting Around:
The closest metro station is Poble Sec (Line 3).
The quickest way to go to the airport would be taking the bus "Aerobus" at Plaça España. The cost is around 4.5€
Other Things to Note:
*** TOURIST TAX & REGISTRATION PROCESS ***
- Since 2012 the Catalan administration requires that every guest staying in a hotel room or renting an apartment in Catalunya contributes with a small city tax fee of 9.50€ per guest (over 17 years old) per night up to a maximum of 7 nights. This cost IS NOT included on your reservation.
- National and International police demand that each guest, prior to their visit to Barcelona, would send information of their IDs or passports. This is mandatory, as it is stated in Catalan Law, and all legal touristic establishments are required to do so.
- This apartment uses a self-checkin system via the Chekin platform that will allow you to register all guests on the reservation
and pay the mandatory tourist taxes before your arrival.

Check-in time is at 17:00 hrs
Check-out is at 11:00 am (non-agreed late check-outs will incur on a 100€ charge per hour late)
*** HOUSE RULES ***
1. Parties, drugs, loud noise or any kind of disturbance towards the neighbors are completely forbidden, with a penalty of 400€ and possible eviction
2. Please observe quiet time between 10pm - 9am.
3. Respect your neighbors and be respectful in common areas (hallways, entrance, elevator, stairs).
4. Loss of keys will have a 100€ charge per key lost.
5. Smoking on interior areas will have a charge of 100€ + all cleaning fees involved.
6. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities.
7. Please leave the apartment in a respectable condition.
Not following those rules will incur on a monetary sanction and the full responsibility of any fines from the local administration or authorities.

Great times in Barcelona
We had a great stay in this apartment. There are plenty of restaurants and bars in the neighborhood. I would recommend this for anybody looking for a simple, nice, place to stay.

Barcelona apartment
Check in process was awful. We spent half a day trying to figure it out. Luckily a neighbor tried to help us decipher the instructions. The keys were in a completely different location from what our initial instructions said. Once inside, we found the apartment was not the one photographed in the listing. There were moths everywhere. One toilet wouldn’t flush and the washer flooded the basement room. We had to take the mattress off of the top bunk bed as the bed was not sturdy enough for my teen. Due to the flood, we brought the two bed mattresses from down there upstairs. The host was hard to get ahold of initially, but later put us in touchh with someone local. They did off to move us to another apartment the second day, of one was available. We opted out as we only had 2 days in Barcelona and had already wasted half a day trying to get into the apartment. We didn’t want to waste more time moving to another location.
