“Wow! This is Newmarket, right? We stayed there for Valentine's. Welcoming from the second we entered the lobby. Professional, friendly staff and a lobby bar that felt like we were transported back to the 50s. Exceptional service at every interaction. Even the guy mopping the floor greeted me and warned of the wet floor. Our room was wonderfully appointed. We had breakfast at the Overlea. A nice view overlooking downtown Newmarket. And great food. “I have used Holiday Inn on several occasions and I have never encountered a place like this. The bathroom was uncomfortable, unclean, the common areas were dirty, but the worst of all was that there were children running around everywhere and knocking on the doors. We had to notify security... all night long there was shouting, they were knocking on the doors. It was really a high price to pay for the terrible service we received.”
