“I booked the rental on less than 24 hours notice. The owner was terrific. She communicated clearly beforehand, had great information about the area waiting in the space, and leaving was very easy too. She even reached out to see if I needed to extend by a day. This is located midway between Eureka and Arcata and was very convenient. The kitchen had everything I needed and everything was clean and comfortable. I hope to return sometime. ”

“We arrived and the house was a mess with beds stripped and used towels laying around (it is important to note we had not been informed that bringing our own bedding might be necessary, and thus were unable to stay the night). It had clearly not been cleaned since the previous renter despite the fact that we checked in an hour after 4. Moreover, the house did not smell good and the bathmat was visibly very dirty.

“We enjoyed our stay very much in this perfectly located home. Everything was walking distance to restaurants, shops, and the farmers market. The place was clean and had everything we needed. There was a beautiful garden which you can enjoy sitting the deck with chairs and loungers as well as a bbq grill to just relax outside. ”
