Ubicada en el bosque a lo largo del río Delaware, esta acogedora cabaña presenta tanto el tranquilo aislamiento del bosque como la recreación del río Delaware. Hogar de esquiadores, excursionistas, kayakistas, ciclistas de montaña, pescadores con mosca, cazadores y naturalistas, la cabaña es perfecta para la familia que ama la naturaleza o el escritor / artista que busca refugio. Esta encantadora cabaña está rodeada de bosques y arroyos que brindan privacidad y más de 300 pies de frente al río. Hermosos senderos y puentes peatonales conducen desde la casa hasta el río. Muchas águilas calvas anidan en la zona. Está en perfecto estado con una chimenea de leña, sótano terminado con una estufa de leña y un porche con vista al río. La cabina está en el lado de PA, a 2 millas al sur de la pintoresca ciudad de Narrowsburg, Nueva York. Un refugio para experimentar, esta cabaña en el río Delaware garantiza un ambiente relajante y tranquilo durante todas las estaciones del año.


Área circundante: muchos de nuestros visitantes nos han dicho que disfrutan simplemente quedarse en la cabaña, leer, observar aves y explorar el río y el bosque. Pero si desea aventurarse más lejos, a dos millas al norte de la cabaña se encuentra la pintoresca ciudad de Narrowsburg, Nueva York. Explore las galerías locales de arte y antigüedades. Experimenta el Teatro Tusten. Revive la historia con una visita a Fort Delaware. O conduzca por los hermosos y sinuosos caminos que corren paralelos al río. Abajo se encuentra la histórica Casa Zane Grey. 30 minutos a Honesdale para pasear por las calles o tomar el Stourbridge Rail, un viaje en una máquina de vapor hacia el salvaje oeste.


Área de esquí: 20 minutos en coche a una selección de dos pistas de esquí, Tanglewood o Big Bear.

Hay excelentes pistas de esquí de fondo en el Parque Estatal Promise Land, a 30 minutos de la cabina.

El río: esta área del río cuenta con algunas de las aguas más emocionantes y variadas del río Delaware. Al norte de la cabina corre Skinners Falls, una sección desafiante de rápidos. Luego el agua fluye hacia Narrowsburg sobre las aguas más profundas del río. En el tramo del río entre Narrowsburg y la cabaña, hay rocas y acantilados desde los que saltar al río. Más abajo en el río hay más rápidos y, finalmente, el agua más alta y más rápida del Delaware. Tubos, canoas y kayaks están disponibles en la casa y más para alquilar de proveedores locales.

House was lovely. Rustic, yet very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. There was a very short walk to the river with a beautiful deck for watching the birds and eagles. We enjoyed it and will hopefully return again!

The Knoll is the perfect peaceful get away we were looking for. The owner was very kind! The house was comfortable, big enough and has everything you need. The best part was the property! The dogs loved walking through the woods and sitting on the big porch being with nature and so did I!

The property is very nice. The rules were very easy to follow. The house was extremely clean and we left it the same way we came. We cleaned up very good before we left. Put all the dishes away silverware. All the appliances were great. The upstairs fireplace was good. It really warmed up the house nicely and it provided great ambiance. We did not try the wood stove downstairs in the basement.

We had an amazing time this past weekend at the cabin. Everything was wonderful. The only negative- there is no tv in the cabin anywhere. The advertisement should mention that. Many people want to get away and disconnect but the option of a TV to watch movies should be available or at least specified in the description that there is no TV. We improvised and had an amazing weekend.

Cute cabin in the woods, no frills- exactly as described. Clean, comfy, well equipped kitchen, secluded. The snow/ice made the road going in a little difficult, and the yard/deck by the river unusable-- but we expected this going in February. We enjoyed sitting on the porch, even in the chilly weather. Tons of puzzles and games, ( NO TV, but great wi-fi for those that need). We had a very peaceful escape from reality.

Beautiful Location for a secluded anniversary weekend. The house was well equipped, clean and nicely decorated. The wooded property was amazing, and we loved the trail to a deck overlooking over the Delaware. Even though it was a chilly weekend we still spent a lot of time sitting on the deck and watching the eagles. Hope to visit again soon.

The cabin was a great getaway. I love that they supplied fire wood for the fireplace. It's definitely off the beaten path with a great view. We would definitely stay there again.

We really enjoyed our time at residence for our getaway weekend to unplug from busy lives. Our stay was wonderful. It delivered what it advertised. We were grateful for opportunity to stay there. If there was one thing we would change it would be trash policy. It was challenging to dispose of our trash being from out of town. We managed. We would definitely stay there again in future if able. I recently had the opportunity to stay at this cabin in Beach Lake with my cousins, and the experience was amazing. The location is perfect if you’re looking to get away from the noise of the city and enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. The cabin is surrounded by beautiful scenery with easy access to the lake, which allowed us to enjoy outdoor activities like fishing and hiking in the area. The interior of the cabin was cozy and well-equipped. The beds were comfortable, and the common areas, such as the living room and kitchen, were clean and well-organized, making our stay very pleasant. Plus, the views from the deck were stunning, a perfect place to relax at the end of the day. One thing we really appreciated was the privacy and the laid-back atmosphere. The host was very attentive and provided us with all the information we needed before our arrival, which made the whole process easy. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with friends or family. We’ll definitely be coming back in the future!

We really liked the house and outdoor space, especially the patio overlooking the river. The biggest drawback, and for me it is a big one, is that bed sheets are not provided. Since we were driving and had room in the car it wasn't a disaster, but hauling 4 beds' worth of sheets fills a duffel bag, and I did not enjoy having to make those beds after a 7 hour drive. I wouldn't mind stripping the beds at the end but for the cost of the accommodations and how little a house full of sheets would cost ($150-200 on the high side), it soured me somewhat on the experience. Lovely property though and the hosts were attentive and accommodating.

Was here for a rafting trip. Very rustic cabin in the woods. If you need bathroom on the same floor as bedroom this will not work. Once upstairs at the end of the steps you will find bunk beds out in the open and then to the right and left a bedroom with doors on each side.the second bathroom is in the basement ….outside is Tranquil peaceful on the porch enjoyed watching the humming birds everyday. A bit of a slope to get down to the deck but once they’re enjoyed the water view. Very nice wilderness property.i did need to reach out to the host and when i did she returned my call very soon after and was happy to assist.

We all enjoyed the peacefulness of the property- it was clean an very personable with nice decorations - The back roads to the property was a bit narrow in places. Our only complaints would be the walk down to the river was not the greatest could use some work to make it a bit safer to get there & back, also a bathroom upstairs with the bedrooms would have been nice. Otherwise we had no issues and had an enjoyable time.

What a wonderful stay at the Knoll!! The cabin was perfect and had every amenity I could need. The property is so much fun to explore and my dogs had an absolute blast. The observation deck is a dream to sit and watch the river and rafters go by. Highly recommended to pack water shoes for getting down to the river. The porch at the cabin was the ideal spot to watch for birds and I spotted at least 25 hummingbirds and the woods were filled with chirps all around. The bedrooms were comfortable. We will certainly be going back.
