Mi esposa e hija no se quedaron ahí porque dicen que el lugar está feo y se sintieron inseguras. Nada que ver con las fotos. Me gustaría por favor me hicieran el reembolso del costo de la habitación. Gracias

While the location is great, and the room itself was okay in terms of cleanliness, the building exterior, hallways are rundown and uninviting. Also, stairway makes it impossible for me to recommmend this property to anyone who is physically challenged. Noisy music from venue downstairs made it difficult to sleep. Lastly, I don't understand why the property doesn't promote Vegan eating establishments like Peaceful Provisions, merely 1 block over, as well as Vegan-friendly and Vegetarian Kitchen & Coffee that is literally 2 doors down, on the same block.

Terrible all around. Problems included ((1) no staff at all on hand/had to key in a code to access property and one's specific room (different codes) and not at all intuitive how coded locks worked/very aggravating; (2) AC and regular heating unit didn't work at all; (3) TV could not get regular live network channels (quite the issue during baseball play-offs); (4) there was a VERY LOUD street fair type baazar going on immediately outside windows when I checked in; and (5) not toilet paper dispenser (fortunately toilet paper was there just not on a roller). I would never ever consider staying there again...

This is an interesting location. The only down side is parking and carrying bags up three flights of stairs. But it is walking distance to everywhere and I really enjoyed the short stay there.

When I booked this property, I didn't realize that it was a rent-by the day room. Were placed on the 3rd floor; no elevators! If we knew this earlier, we would have cancelled. No one to talk to on premises, to ask for a second washcloth, etc. Hallway was dirty. Parking was across the street in city lot. The room was clean and quite usable, but we were disappointed in the facility. Location was excellent-right on Main St.

How desperate are you to stay in the town center?

If you REALLY want to stay in walking distance of Beacon restaurants/shops/bars and not fall back to the chain hotels in Fishkill, you can probably manage a night at the Beacon. Room itself is serviceable, not fancy, and reasonably appointed. [although the AC did squeal like a pig all night]. The entrance, hall, and stairs are total skid row, and as many reviews have noted it is not a hotel -- no services at all. And the price, at least on a mid-summer weekend - is simply unconscionable for the value received.

There is no staff on property and we were given codes. When we tried to get into our room there was another party there that luckily was able to reach out to rectify the situation, but led us feeling horrible for kicking out this other group. Then when we went to sleep the window AC was too small and the room was too hot to sleep in.

This was such a unique stay! I had never been to Beacon before, but I loved it and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to go! The hotel can be a little hard to find at first, but I felt safe staying!

Unsatisfactory

Room was not clean. It smelled of cigarette smoke and stale food due to the restaurants below. Bed was uncomfortable. Parking was a nightmare due to not having an assigned parking area. Stairs to unsafe and old, not to mention the labyrinth path to get to room 12. Loud noises due to the businesses in the area. Unfortunately not a decent place to stay at. Old, unsafe, unsanitary, inconvenient, does not offer any perks, and expensive.

It was an overall good stay. The condition of our room was not terrible, but there was a lot of weird quirks. The bathroom sink couldn't run for more than 5 seconds. A majority of the shelves were broken. And the Wifi was really bad so the Roku TV was pretty much useless. Also, there isn't anyone to talk to or any phone number if you have concerns. So good thing nothing bad happened. Message to management: clean/ fix the rooms. fix the wifi. fix the sink. and at least include a help number in the check-in email in case the visitors need it. Thanks!

Convenient to downtown Beacon. Room was clean with tv, table and stools, chair, coffee maker, toaster oven, iron and board, hair dryer and electric fireplace. The entrance and navigating to one’s room is initially difficult. Entrance and hallways are not appealing and feel unsafe. Once you are in the room, it feels safe. Booking agent and management were responsive to texts.

A creative adventure if you have no other option

The best thing about this place is that they accommodate a single night stay (other hotels have a two night minimum) and they are right on Main Street across from wonder bar which is great. It reminded me of when I was much younger and lived in a tiny studio apartment in the east village Less great things: The building you have to navigate through to find your room smells of cigarette smoke and restaurant kitchen odors My room was adjacent to the outdoor dining of a restaurant and it was super noisy There was no corkscrew available in the room so I had to run out and buy one The AC wouldn’t come on when I tried it

Convenient, centrally located but uncomfy

The room was centrally located and pretty quiet at night. The microwave and fridge were great amenities to have especially since there's so many great restaurants in the area. The shower water pressure and bathroom stock was great. It was just a little uncomfortable from a climate control and toilet perspective The toilet was low flush / non-functional, and we had to watch a YouTube video to figure out how to fix / declog. The AC also was non-functional during the 70 degree day.
