“Boutique Hotel Schluessel was perfect for a remote getaway. The staff are incredibly friendly and cannot do enough for you. The hotel rooms are spacious and clean and there are lots of amenities including a self service mini bar, hairdryers and drinking water faucets in the rooms. Our room was warm in the heat of the summer but we were provided with fans which kept the room cool. Would recommend eating at the hotel restaurant - a beautiful setting for dinner and fresh ingredients used. The...

“We were in Austria but the rains closed all the trains. We decided to go to the Interlaken area. Hotel Alpenrose was the only hotel that wasn’t double our budget. It is really more of a cozy bed and breakfast than a hotel. It was a little bit out of the way but the trains are so easy in Switzerland than it wasn’t an issue. The ride back gave us time to get caught on emails and send pictures and texts friends and family. We would stay there again. ”

“With free parking area just opposite to hotel. Nice staff and room is clean. 5mins walk to supermarket. Sharing shower room and toilet are also clean, too. Peaceful to stay.”
