“This was the perfect place for me and a friend to spend Christmas! Roanoke and the surrounding area has so many things to do, and the downtown is very walkable. Additionally, the place had everything we could possibly want for cooking, baking, and overall just a wonderful Christmas vacation. Separate rooms far enough away from each other that it didn't feel uncomfortable like sharing a hotel room, with enough common spaces to hang out during the day. Host communicated well and was very available...

“We had a wonderful anniversary trip to Roanoke and could not be happier with our lodgings. This place is a mix of modern meets historic. It is a great place for a weekend getaway for a couple or for a group of friends. There are 3 bedrooms and plenty of space. There even is a car charger, which we asked to use and the property owner shared. Check-in and out was easy. Kitchen facility was great. ”

“Wonderful stay at the caboose. Excellent communication with the hosts! They were great to work with. As mentioned in the listing, it is on top of a hill overlooking a working steel mill, but once inside you could not hear anything! They did a grea job with insulation and blinds so it does not disturb you at night. Would definitely stay again.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean and spacious. We liked that it looked out on the woods, while being close to shopping. The road was a little busy, but with the apartment being in the back/lower level of the unit it was quiet. Beds were very comfy! The host responded quickly to messages. It was a nice area of town so we felt very safe. We would stay here again.”
