We paid almost as much for fees, taxes and recreational passes as we did for the rental of the house itself. Over $1,000 for the recreational passes themselves and even though we did not intend to use them, we could not get them excluded.
The house is older, fairly dark, but a great floor plan for a large group. We had 4 families with kids from 4-18 and everyone was comfortable. Also a great location. There was not enough firewood to last through our visit, so we requested more. Per Cascara, that was the owners responsibility and all they could do was pass on our request, and unfortunately, the owner did not respond. Lastly, a lot of the plates and cups had chips in them. Not a big deal, but for a premium rental, I would expect a little more attention to detail. We did have a great time and our family was well accomodated, the comments above are intended to be helpful.
