I really wanted to love this property….it was listed as great for families with lots of amenities. However, from the start it was a challenge. We didn’t receive our arrival info from the property manager until I called on arrival day. When we entered the property it smelled like the previous guests had just cooked breakfast it smelled of greasy foods. Mind you it was 3:30pm no one should have been there since 11am. The home was tidy but not clean, shower floors could benefit from a magic eraser and potholders and utensils were dirty. Plates and bowls had been put away dirty and the entire knife block was filthy, not a clean knife in it. A broken kitchen chair had been left with a note from the previous tenant that it was broken when they arrived. Not a lot of attention to detail. The hot tub didn’t have enough water so the jets just shot water at you instead of under the water and the temp has been turned down to 100, so barely above body temp. They did send a person out to fill the tub and temp was adjusted. The refrigerator was apparently set to the highest setting and froze all of our produce, milk, eggs etc. most of the fridge has to be thrown out and repurchased. Apparently there is a camera In the back, I know this because the property manager was checking it during our stay and texting me about the weather. This is concerning as this is where the hot tub is. A heads up there is a camera out back would have been nice.
