We had a poor experience. We arrived at 6:45 pm after driving 3 hours and the house wasn't cleaned -- dirty bedding, dog hair, piles of dirty towels, dirty counters, etc. I called the mngt company and a cleaning crew eventually arrived. They were great, but as of 9:30 they were still cleaning. We had yet to eat or unpack so we told them it was clean enough, leaving things like the microwave and sink dirty. The 1st of 3 night was awash.The listing said it slept 7 and had 3 photos of a room with a bunkbed (single on top, double on bottom). However, the bunk was replaced by a queen bed, so the house slept 6. Had we know this we wouldn't have rented it. It was a family trip and our daughter brought 2 friends and our son 1. The girls were to sleep in the bunk. Since it wasn't there, they took the king bed with the private bathroom, and my husband and I took the queen bed and used the common bathroom that had tape covering the lock. We are understanding people and no single issues would have been a problem, but together, they were. I emailed requesting that 1/3 of the costs be reimbursed. We often rent homes and have never requested a refund or given less than 4 stars. They said they would have a response in 24-48 hours. After 7 emails and 4 days, I was finally told they would reimburse the cleaning fee. Only after I said my review would reflect their inadequate resolution did they commit to reimbursing 1/3 of cost. I will not rent this house or a house managed by iTrip again.
