  • Highland Hideaway - GRATIS 2 horas de alquiler de bicicleta / kayak! Cabina en una excelente ubicación con un fácil acceso a pie a las tiendas, restaurantes y al lago. Estudio rústico super lindo (no está disponible el desván) con un baño, cama tamaño queen, televisor de pantalla plana con cable, WiFi GRATUITO, reproductor de blu-ray inteligente (sin chimenea) y un amplio patio trasero cercado con una mesa de picnic y una barbacoa de gas. Equipado con todas las comodidades del hogar, Highland Hideaway tiene una cocina completa con estufa / horno, refrigerador, microondas, licuadora, tostadora, cafetera, platos, ollas / sartenes y más.

    Highland Hideaway viene con toallas frescas, y las camas están hechas con ropa de cama fresca y un montón de mantas acogedoras. Nuestro equipo de limpieza dedicado tiene la cabina limpia y lista antes de su visita y hace la limpieza después de su estancia.

Highland Hideway

It's small less than 500 sq ft, but just perfect for two people. Our dog was enamored with the back yard. He never saw so many squirrels and rabbits! Place is clean and area is quite, close to a Mexican restaurant we love. Would highly recommend.

Highland Hideaway B-Day getaway

This cabin walks the line between Rustic and Rundown. The TV and appliances all worked. The doors and windows need replacing. The window nearest the bed could not be used because the screen was falling apart. We checked out a day early. We would not stay in this cabin again.

Fur Gremlin Friendly

Perfect for me and a couple of gremlins. Big back yard and cozy warm studio set up, everything you need. Had a great time in nature and met some very cool locals. It was a great trip.

I like my two days trip here, especially the fully fenced back year, I have a small dog, he could run anywhere he wants in such a big snow backyard.

Hideaway Retreat

We truly enjoyed our weekend away. It was very relaxing and fun for us and our pup. The huge backyard was a plus for him to enjoy, as well as close walk to hikes.

Big Bear Getaway

This is my second time at the cabin. It is perfect for the pups and a few days getaway. It was clean,and the right size for two. My only complaint is that the door was hard to open and the DVD player did not work, but I notified the management. The level of communication was terrific. I would definitely stay here again.

Super relaxing

This was my first solo trip and I took my dog with me. The cabin was absolutely perfect for a short getaway. It was clean, safe, and my dog absolutely loved the fenced backyard which was a nice peace of mind for me as well. Would come back for sure!

Great Management Company

Very friendly and helpful staff. We had an issue with the initial cabin (hence the rating), but they switched us to a great alternative quickly and without issue.

Great Back Yard

Massive fences in yard. Our Husky loved the snow banks. Kind of an amazing aspect to the property in this location.

Me time

I came to the mountains to have some me time after my wife passed away a few months ago! I wanted to see the Forest and the lake and the trees and I needed a place to stay while I have this experience! Cool Cabins catered to my needs! I will definitely use them again! Thank you for providing cool cabins!

Great cabin with large yard

The Highland Hideaway was great! It is a cozy, studio-style cabin with everything you need for a weekend in Big Bear. Our dog loved playing in the snow in the fenced yard. Big Bear Cool Cabins was very helpful and communicative. They even drove by and plowed the snow in front of our driveway after we got 11 inches of snow!

Good location

Cabin was just like the picture, nice backyard for our poochies to explore. It could use new rugs and carpet. It had a strong unpleasant smell glad I had a candle to help with that. The kitchen was well stocked with all we needed for our stay.

The property is cute and perfect for my husband, 3 year old and myself with our dog. The yard is huge and perfect for us since we get to play with the dog but still feel like were out in nature. The reasons why I didn't give a 5 star review is because I asked for an early check in and they let me know that they can't guarantee it but will let me know when the house is ready and traditional check in was at 4pm. We ended up not getting a text at all. I texted the number past 4pm and no response so I called and they had to look it up and the response was "oh yea, its ready for you now". Once arriving to the house, there were 3-4 big dog poops that I had to pick up in the back yard. The couch also didn't have back cushions which made it really uncomfortable to sit and watch TV.

well, it's better than camping

The pictures on the internet are misleading by a lot. Don't mind a small place but this cabin is rundown, towel racks falling off the wall, no dresser or closet for clothes, kitchen is lacking any space, didn't even have a spatula. poor lighting throughout, especially bad in the bathroom. Will definitely not be staying here again.

The property Highland Hideaway has a great backyard, but the actual cabin is too dark dirty. The bathroom feels like you were outside. A cold breeze, blows through one window and goes out the other one, even though the windows are closed the shower was too short to even stand in for somebody who's 5'10 and it's not actually a shower it's a tub. I was not impressed with the cabin. The front door wouldn't close it kept blowing open couch had stains,It was filthy.

Great service but cabin in need of improvement

I hate to rate as low as a two but I must say the service and communication from Big Bear Cool Cabins is exceptional. The informative texts and emails made everything effortless. My questions were also responded to promptly so from that aspect, it was wonderful. The cabin, though, was disappointing. The couch appears to be very dirty and stained. It truly needs to be replaced. The comforter on the bed was covered in hair, the pillows smelled, as did the extra blanket that was provided. I'm not interested in posting poor reviews online because i was very pleased with the service just not the cleanliness of the cabin.

Need update

The place is some what out dated, it needs better locks on doors and windows ( didn't feel very safe) . Also the information books are needed to be updated ( they are from 2020) We did have a great stay otherwise. I did not understand the charges, and why was I charged for propane when we did not use it? They told me that is an automatic charge. Why? The barbeque is old and ready to fall apart. The back door is not safe at all, and unfinished . The couch is old and uncomfortable and smells. The place needs a facelift.
