Large open space.Clean. Unit was full of light. Responsive to questions. Great location! Great coffee supply and plenty of pillows. Beds were a bit soft for our liking and we missed the second couch that was in the picture of the unit. Would have lied a few more comfortable chairs for our hanging out time. Birmingham was a fun city to visit—great restaurants.

This was an absolutely lovely, well maintained, and comfortable apartment and the pictures did it justice! The host was responsive and took care of an issue we had immediately. The location couldn’t be better and we enjoyed our visit thoroughly!

The listing is in a great area and super walkable. But we were disappointed to that the photographs didn’t match the listing. The pictured two comfy couches was really just one couch and several uncomfortable chairs, the hall bathroom is tiny with no space on the vanity for toiletries, and decorative objects cluttered every surface. The worst part were the microfiber bath towels—truly a tragedy. Will not stay here again for precisely that reason.

Adorable loft in the city

We stayed for a quick overnight stay when in town for a concert. The decor was adorable and very well done. The location was convenient to the venue and restaurants. There are definitely the sounds of the city at all hours but they include sound machines which were a nice touch. The noises are expected when staying in a city. Overall a great experience and a perfect place to stay in the area.

Nice urban location

Really enjoyed this property. It was very clean and spacious. Ended up being two (2) of us instead of the four (4) planned. Would have still been fine with four (4). The hosts were on point with communication and they offered to provide suggestions on things to do. The only “downside” is that we could hear the next door neighbors. Not an issue but if you want complete peace and quiet, you would be disappointed. That said, it is in an urban setting so you cannot expect total peace and quiet. Enjoyed the convenience of the location for all of the places we went. Would stay here again.

Great place

I had a group of 9 friends traveling to New Orleans and we stopped in Birmingham for a night. Because of the large group, we rented all 3 units in the building. Great location, easy walk to many nearby breweries. All units were well furnished. The owner texted me during the stay and was very helpful with anything i needed. Great host and stay!

Safety concerns

Bolt lock wasn’t working. Front side entry no way to lock up stair door.1 bathroom was too small to serve 1 bedroom. Other guests were playing music loud. Property located in lower end neighborhood. Rate was to Hi for what we received.

Good communication

We were in town for a baseball tournament. The check-in process was very efficient and our hosts provided great communication. The property was as pictured, clean and beautifully decorated. It was a central location and within 30 minutes of the Hoover Met Complex and local high schools we played at. The only downside was the ac controlled temp. It is locked and won’t go below 70 degrees. We were hot and luckily had our fans from the games that we used to cool down the back room. The location is in the old automotive district and within the last years I read is being re-vamped with new businesses and residential construction. At night it is kind of desolate and street racers could be heard outside racing cars and police chasing with sirens. Also, the apartment sits above a vape/smoke shop. I could smell faint aromas and think it was coming from below. Also, one night there was random construction in the empty storefront with construction saws and hammering that lasted an hour. We contacted the host and they were very apologetic and spoke with the landlord below. We didn’t hear any other construction the remaining of the stay. Overall it was a good stay with a few minor issues.
