  • Cranberry Cottage is a recently(2015) remodeled home just right for the couple or good friends who are looking to be located near the Black Mountain Greenway for a creekside walk to downtown. Restaurants, Music, Playgrounds, and the Local Scene are all within a few minutes easy walk of the secluded intown residence. Cranberry Cottage is cozy(675sq. ft.) yet well designed for your Mountain Getaway.

The house was easy to find, had everything we needed. Bill checked on us shortly after we arrived to make sure everything was in order. Even in a fairly busy area, it was extremely quiet. We had a very nice visit and would definitely stay again.

Black Mountain retreat

This is our second time at this property, and we had a wonderful stay & visit w/family friends. It's a perfect size for us & our dog was welcome too & having the fenced in yard was perfect!

Enjoyable Cottage

Cranberry Cottage is a quaint little cottage that was perfect for me and my 3 dogs. The fenced in back yard was a great place to let the dogs run around in. I did not get the chance, but I bet sitting on the patio around the fireplace would be wonderful!

Perfect spot

Cozy cabin and the dogs loved the fenced yard. Black Mountain was a great town and we had lots of fun exploring all around the area. We will definitely book again!

Hiking near Blue Ridge Parkway

Good Location for visiting Asheville and surrounding area. Place was clean and had what we needed to relax in the evening. Quiet neighborhood.

Great cottage in Black Mountain!

We enjoyed our second stay at cranberry cottage! The fenced yard was enjoyed by our dogs and we made a fire in the fire pit that was very enjoyable! We appreciate the attention that the owners have paid to making the stay enjoyable!

we walked all over the small town of black mountain and hiked the trails too…the house was great and we LOVED the shaded yard with a fence for our dog.

Great Place!

We had a lovely weekend here with our dog. Beautiful property and comfy bed! Fully fenced yard was great for our dog. We will definitely be back.

This was a great property. Clean and just as advertised. We had everything we needed. Once you went in the fence it was very private but close to town. It was a great stay and we would stay again.

Black mtn trip for baseball

The cottage was very cute and comfortable. For a one bedroom cottage it was very roomy. It was just myself staying, but it could accommodate more. The host was easy to get in touch with. It was very good if you’re traveling with a pet because I loved the fenced in private yard. It was cool and shady and a nice place to sit even in warmer weather. It is just minutes from downtown Black Mountain and you could walk there if you wanted to. My dog and I also enjoyed walking at lake Tomahawk Park, which was less than a mile away. I would definitely consider staying there again if I’m in the area.

Cottage Review

The Black Mountain cottage was exactly as described plus we were provided with a nice bottle of wine. The dogs loved the securely fenced in yard. The fire pit was also a nice bonus.

Great Getaway

My daughter, myself, and my fury friend had a wonderful visit! The house was perfect for us! The host had great communication with me! I left my grandson book and they are mailing it to me. Will definitely stay again next year!
