“Property clean and convenient to Seaham. Two short flights of stairs to rooms with 3 sets of doors to go through. No lift and no help to get luggage to room. Registration at bar and staff was busy with patrons so check in and out took time. Parking on site. Security good. ”

“We were visiting friends so only stayed 1 night. Room was clean and bed comfy. Breakfast was really nice. Full English beautifully cooked and perfect poached eggs! ”

“A friendly check in. Everything the hotel offers seems to have been given thought. Standards generally high and everything most people would need was available. ”

“Nice clean hotel. Excellent location. Room was a bit small. Breakfast is not the best. Lacking staff to clear tables. Only has one coffee machine which didn’t work half the time. Limited choice. Staff were friendly enough. Despite breakfast I would certainly return. ”

“The place was very popular with locals so parking was a bit awkward, we arrived after 6pm and there wasn’t much room to park. Maybe one criticism would be there isn’t reserve parking for staying guests and after travelling 140 odd miles and to be faced with hunting a parking space was as I said a little awkward. But that shouldn’t take away from what was a nice place to visit great food and a generous breakfast, clean room comfy bed.”

“Check in and breakfast were good. The area is close to great pubs and restaurants and the metro. Unfortunately in the year since we last stayed here, the hotel looks a little rough inside. Carpet looks beat up. There are dings and scuffs all over the walls inside hotel rooms. We had a great time otherwise. ”

“En general, es buen hotel. Sería mejor si el personal fuera más atento con los huéspedes. Cuando llegamos a hacer check inn, nos dieron una habitación para discapacitados…, lo hicimos saber a la recepción y se nos dijo que “todas las habitaciones eran iguales”. Al día siguiente, lo volvimos a señalar al encargado y nos dio otra habitación, completamente diferente, y muy cómoda; nada qué ver con la primera. La limpieza de las habitaciones es muy mala, ambos cuartos siempre estuvieron llenos de...

“Todo acogedor, limpio, cómodo, lo más parecido a sentirse en casa. Trato directo, amable y cordial, nada de falsas apariencias. Es lo que ves, sin trampa ni carton. El bar, pequeñita barra de madera, sirve una cerveza estupenda, y la comida es de buena calidad. Totalmente recomendable.”
