Family Vacation

This was a great place for our family and friends to gather. It was a good location for everything Palmetto Bluff had to offer. We had a problem with one toilet and the property management company had it fixed in a timely manner. They were very professional. We will rent through them again.

A bit of a let down

This house is beautiful and in a great location. Unfortunately they were having some exterior repair issues that we were not informed about. We also had many maintenance issues. The maintenance issues were repaired as best as they could. We would not rent this home again.

Wonderful!!

House was exactly as advertised, super clean, well appointed, and just perfect for our small group. We fully enjoyed having the comforts of home including the well equipped kitchen, screened porch, washer/dryer, and great location in the village. We stayed at a smaller home across the street from 34 Walnut Grove a few years ago, both managed by Palmetto Luxury. Both were outstanding and we would stay at either again!

We enjoyed our stay at Palmetto Bluff. It helped that we had PERFECT weather and a lot of wild life was around. We appreciated the high ceilings and doors, and we made good use of the beautiful, screened-in porch. For more outdoor air, mosquito screens in the windows would have been appreciated.

Great House…Missing Some Things

We had an excellent time in Palmetto Bluff, as always! The check in process was awesome and the house was, overall, great. We were just missing a vacuum and dust pan/brush to tidy up a bit. I really wish we had these so that we could maintain the cleanliness of the house. Nevertheless, we loved it!

Blissful Oasis Surrounded By Amenities

I have stayed in Palmetto Bluff more than 10 times and can honestly say this was one my favorite houses to rent. It was extremely convenient to everything, and the house itself was large yet somehow cozy. The furnishings were all excellent and no detail was missed. Palmetto Bluff continues to be one of the nicest places on earth to visit. The dolphins were plentiful surrounding our kayaks each morning, and the tennis courts (right by the house) were in tremendous shape. Each restaurant brings its own special quality - and nothing is more pleasant than an evening cocktail outside the Octagon restaurant. I loved this house so much that I was sad all the way home that I was leaving it behind!

Perfection!

Beautiful house perfectly appointed for our visit with 4 adults and 6 children. Kitchen has every gadget you could imagine, fire pit in the backyard was a hit for s'mores. Perfect location close to everything Wilson has to offer, but situated next to conservation property, so you have a sense of nature and privacy. Property managers addressed the few minor issues we had immediately, and their staff are friendly and approachable. We would definitely rent this house again!

HOUSE SET UP

Pillows in all beds need to be replaced. The pillows are flat. I tried stacking one on top of another one, but it made me too high. Master bath on right after entering the house had leak that occurred on the last day. Outside door from the laundry room needs to be replaced. It was very difficult to unlock or lock. Finally, we just left it locked. our grand children were very disappointed that our rental did not include the golf cart. The language in the agreement seemed to indicate a golf cart will be provided. Similar issue with the bikes. When we signed the original agreement, it included bikes. Later we were told they would not be provided. After some further discussion, 3 bikes were provided. They were very old bikes. It appears the owner's golf cart was in the yard with a cover over. We had to rent the golf cart from a rental company and paid $90 per day. I felt we were mislead on this issue. I will not recommend this house to any one because of these issues.

Great family vacation

We had an excellent family vacation over the 4th of July in palmetto bluff. The house fit our young family perfectly and was in an excellent location in Wilson village. Everything was a short walk or golf cart away. We will definitely be back!

Peaceful retreat in challenging times

We've stayed at several other properties at Palmetto Bluff and this turned out to be one of our favorites -- the house is in mint condition, extremely comfortable and in a really great location, within walking distance from all the great amenities/activities PB has to offer. More importantly, the owner is an incredible host and a pleasure to deal with -- any requests we had, Jana was always available to quickly take care of them. Too bad coronavirus got in the way of an otherwise great stay -- many PB activities/amenities had to be curtailed to promote social distancing. Even so, just being able to bike around and enjoy the peaceful, beautiful scenery was enough. We'll definitely be back!

Wedding gathering place.

Picture Perfect Palmetto Bluff!

Wilson Cottage was the perfect house for our bridal party get-away and Palmetto Bluff provided the picturesque backdrop for a relaxing weekend! The house is within walking or biking distance to several pools, restaurants, and shops. Lounging around in this house is also easy to do with lots of seating, comfy blankets, and heavenly beds! Huge walk-in showers and a dreamy soaking tub made it hard for us not to spend all day indoors. I can't wait to find another reason to travel with a group to Palmetto Bluff and visit Wilson Cottage again!
