“I was upgraded to a harbour view room in building one from a car park view - so that was very grateful. But I more looked at an overgrown tree that obscured any Harbour view. The first door in building one to my door was humid and wet. Rusty stain running down the door on the inside. Room was two twin beds pushed together, but side tables not rearranged space wise so obvious they had just pushed the beds together. Booked on Expedia so no daily servicing of the room. On first morning alarm...

“We had a nice day until we reach this place and wanted to check in. The receptionist/ the person handles the check in was very rude, very unprofessional and very unwelcoming - not hospitable knowing they are in hospitality industry. Dealing with a loss with a family doesn't give you the right to treat your guests bad.”

“The hotel was clean and well-designed and stylish. Staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in & out process was quick and easy. The room was spacious and well-maintained. The bed & pillow was very comfortable. The swimming pool was really good especially the parasols and the swimming bed colour were super nice (instagrammable colours around the hotel). ”

“Fantastic motel, easy parking, quick check in and short walk to great fish and chip shop. Even though they were super busy the rooms are super quiet and spacious with no outside noise heard. Well set out with air fryer, fry pan and microwave so you reheat and eat in your room. ”

“I booked this for a friend from overseas who was travelling to Northern Queensland to meet up with her son. She said the condition of the room was totally unacceptable. Apparently the proprietor offered her an alternative room which was equally grubby, so she did not stay and found another Hotel.”

“Very unclean, mould in kitchen, bedroom cupboards and drawers. People smoking on balconies. Otherwise ok but this time not worth the money unfortunately. ”

“Lower floors can hear the noise on the street. Ask for or book higher room. Excellent staff and food is very good. Great location close to super market and some great restaurants ”
