Our group was eight adults and three grandchildren ages 7, 4, and 1. If our schedules allow it, we will rent again next year. The house is roomy, very clean, and the beds are top-notch. The combination of being on the beach while also having a swimming pool was perfection. By the end of the day, the kids were wiped.There are plenty of Roku TVs, and the living room has comfortable seating with an enormous “picture frame” TV. Bath and beach towels are more than plentiful, as are pool toys, beach chairs, and sand toys. There are also three paddle boards, which were a lot of fun. There was a high chair and a play/pen crib for the one year old. The kitchen is spacious; pots and pans are in good shape and plentiful.But since an honest review should include at least one complaint, the cooktop, microwave, and dishwasher are perfect examples of how to over-engineer simple controls. Once you figure out the quirks, they work fine, but it’s irritating having to think about how to microwave your coffee for 30 seconds.Two more notes: We had no concerns about pool safety. The pool is separated from the living area by a flight of stairs, two regular doors, and finally a large slider that the four-year-old couldn’t budge. There is also an elevator if someone has mobility issues, or if you don’t want to drag luggage or groceries up the stairs.
