“I was there because I was doing some work in the area on behalf of the government. I chose this motel because it allowed dogs, as I had no-one to look after him for me, as well , a motel is easy to let the dog out to do their business. I was surprised that they charge $25/night extra if you have a dog. I don`t recall seeing that in the ad. The other issue was that the air conditioner did not work properly during the hottest days of the summer....I literally had to open the room door to get some...

“The rooms are above crabby Joe's (excellent restaurant by the way) was a bit unsure at first as the entrance is not the Greatest, run down. But the room was nice and clean nothing fancy. The bed was hard though and should have had some sort of mattress cover. Overall it was a good spot, about 15 min walk to beach which of course was extremely packed. We ended up going to pinery provincial park, worth the 20 entrance fee. Less crowded. Would stay again”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Kiwi with our little family. The one bedroom suite was cozy but perfectly supplied with all the amenities we needed, and located right next to the pool, which our kids loved. The staff were the most helpful that we’ve had even at larger resorts we’ve been to. They tidied the room daily, provided clean pool towels daily, and assisted quickly when we had problems with the fridge. The location was also great- still walkable to the main strip and beach but quiet enough...

“Didn't stay there. Websight said vacancies, i booked. When i got there they said they were full. They shuffled me off to their friends motel that i had stayed at before and did want to stay again because of mould. Exhausted, I stayed. Got sick, went to hospital. All arrangements between friends carried out in language i did not know. I felt ' managed' and basicaly an inconvenience to these men. ”
