The house is very nice and as described. More than enough room for 10 adults. Parking was not an issue at all, and we had 4 cars and a boat trailer.
We were disappointed about the property. The house is NOT waterfront. The property is riverfront, but there is a bit of a walk through the woods to get to it which is not handicap accessible. When we were visiting, the water was very high and was not safe to swim in due to increased currents which is obviously out of everyone’s control. We brought a boat that we were thinking we would be able to dock at the house, however we were not able to do that. We docked at Brant Lake about a 5 min drive away. However, it was very expensive. Do your research before hand if you plan to bring your own boat. Also, bring your bug spray! The mosquitos were unbearable at times.
When we arrived, I was surprised to find that we were responsible for not only bringing our garbage to the local dump but also paying to dispose of it (heads up, it’s cash only). We had a similar issue as a previous review as the permit we needed to dispose of it was missing. However the property managers told us they would handle it which ended up working out nicely for us.
There was an issue with the cable on the main living room TV. The property manager told me that someone be there to fix it either “that day or the next.” However, no one ever came. This wasn’t a huge issue for us, so we didn’t pursue it further, but something to be aware of.
