Firstly, the host is excellent. She communicates immediately and is very friendly. You do have to check in at the main gate to get a scan pass for the duration of your stay so do not firstly go to the secondary gate. However, security is tight so good news. The house is beautiful. The furnishings are tasteful and its just a great setting. Beautiful rooms, decks with great chairs and the downstairs has a ping pong table. The host left us red and white wine and yummy snacks. Kitchen is well equipped and stocked. There is a Keurig and a selection of pods and a coffee maker with coffee to use. Sample sizes of toiletries are in the bathrooms. Plenty of hot water for our tired hikers to enjoy showers. Water pressure is good but not gushing. I don't have any negatives to say about the property except that the 2 futons in the office are probably better for kids as our burly guys felt a bar in the middle. One of them just moved the mattress from the day bed in the master (this consists of a thick mattress and a box spring)and one rigged up one of the sofas with the plentiful spare bedding and both slept well. This really is a gorgeous place. Check out is easy too. We all said we would highly recommend it.

We had a great stay for Labor Day weekend. The house was plenty big enough of our family of 5. The house was very clean and well stocked. The only hiccup we had was at the gate. The gate keeper did not have any info about our arrival. We shared with him our reservations and he gave us a pass for the time we were there. Other than that, we did not have any problems. We would stay here again!

Would give it 6 stars if I could. House is beautiful and well stocked. Jessica was wonderful. From her prompt and great communication to the little touches like a welcome basket and toiletries, every little detail was perfect. Hope to return again.

The deer roam freely

We had a group of 5 on a short mountain bike getaway from central Florida. This house was PERFECT! It is in a beautiful gated community and we couldn't have wished for a better choice. I would/will stay here again and again. Deer roam the neighborhood freely and we also saw the occasional white squirrel. This property is accurately listed in pics and description. The biking options for DuPont and Pisgah are close by as well as downtown Brevard. It's a great location in a peaceful and beautiful community.

Fantastic Clean and Calm Home Away from Home

The home was spacious, impeccably clean and had so many hidden "thoughtful" touches for travel such as plenty of cleared surfaces to place your personal items, bags, etc. on, nice toiletries and wireless phone charges on each side of the bed. It sounds odd to say, but having plenty of paper towels, tp, garbage bags etc. was lovely and not a given at some rentals. This home is updated in a way that feels like you are staying at a luxury hotel/resort via its minimalistic, yet very warm and cozy vibe. My kid loved the convertible bench-to-twins in the primary bedroom and the big playground located inside the neighborhood! We would definitely rent here again. Thanks!

Wonderful property!

What a beautiful spot!

We really loved this home and the community it was in. My husband and I were there with our 4 adult children and 3 spouses, plus 1 infant. There was plenty of room for all, and good work space for those who needed to work a couple days. We took advantage of the lovely golf course, the pickleball courts, the hiking trails (both in the community itself and some longer hikes in the Brevard area), and Mountain Biking at DuPont State Recreation Area. The kitchen is wonderful for a larger group and we really enjoyed cooking and just hanging out in this beautiful spot! Jessica was great about answering all my questions and very accommodating with some special requests. Our whole family would highly recommend!!

Excellent!

This property was AMAZING. The owner has thought of absolutely everything…. We felt like a special guest from the moment we walked in. The house has a very new feeling to it, the decor was classy and upscale. Our family stays at a lot of VRBO’s and this one might at the very top of our list. The owner was kind and super easy to communicate with. The neighborhood exceeded our expectations, so much recreation and hiking within the gated community. Honestly, the house alone would be worth the trip back to Brevard. HIGHLY recommend.

Immaculate Luxury!

This was one of the best VRBOs we have ever rented. The house is immaculate, it is exceptionally well stocked, and so comfortable. The kitchen is dynamite, the owner must be a gourmet cook. Not only is there every pot, pan, appliance and gadget you might need, but there is also a china cabinet! We brought fancy champagne expecting to drink it out of a juice glass but were delighted to find champagne flutes and beautiful wine glasses. You are greeted with a basket filled with snacks and a very good bottle of wine. There is even a decanter. All of the furnishings are lovely, the bedding is soft, and there are a ton of extras that the owner offers (shampoo, conditioner, soaps, tooth brushes, lotion, razor, tide pods, dishwashing tabs, etc.). Our kids, 2.5 and 4 yr old loved the property, especially the giant tub in the master bathroom. It was practically a swimming pool for them. We are already planning our next trip to "The Happy Place"!

This house is beautiful, well appointed, spacious, and everything you hope for. The kitchen has tools and supplies that many rentals do not, which I loved. The owner was super responsive and communicated well. I can’t say enough good things. We’ll be back.

Peaceful, soothing retreat for a bride-to-be

This property was exactly the peaceful and relaxing space for my daughter, her bridesmaids, and our family that I had hoped it would be. The cozy, high quality textures and finishes, the beautiful natural lighting, the peaceful outdoor space surrounded by nature….everything was perfect to set a peaceful, calming tone for my daughter leading up to her breathtaking wedding at nearby Pretty Place Chapel (Camp Greenville). Jessica, the property owner, was wonderful to work with. Not only did she speak with me personally more than once to make sure the days leading up to the wedding would go smoothly by offering advice on local services, restaurants, and activities, but Jessica also provided a wonderful welcome/celebratory basket of goodies and champagne plus a wedding gift for the bride. I would advise anyone searching for a soothing for the soul retreat to absolutely stay at this property. You might even get a glimpse of the area’s famous white squirrels playing in the tress off the deck!

A Very Happy Place!

This was a modern mountain home for our family celebration. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and dishes. We even used the good sized crockpot. The bedrooms were very comfortable. We enjoyed the large wrap around porch. The hikes and waterfalls in there community were amazing. The people in there community were friendly and welcomed us. Pickle ball courts, tennis courts, boche, and pool we're close enough to walk to.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

The house is centered in a lush private community offering club amenities as well as crystal clear lakes and great hiking trails. When you finish your hike, tennis, swimming or golf round you return to this modern well appointed mountain retreat with a wrap around deck surrounded by a canopy of trees. The kitchen has everything you could need with updated appliances and countertops. Bedrooms are well appointed each with a TV and an even larger TV in the game room. Close to Hendersonville and Asheville we will be back to enjoy the “Happy Place”.

Great home

The Happy Place was an outstanding home base for a long weekend on the bikes for myself and my friends. The cabin had everything we needed and more, from a spacious living room to a fully equipped kitchen. We loved sitting on the porch and watching the sun go down, making delicious breakfasts in the kitchen every morning, and binge-watching our favorite shows on the huge TVs. We also had a blast mountain biking in the stunning forests of Pisgah and DuPont, where we explored trails and saw amazing animals.

We were "Very Happy" with the "Happy Place"

My family enjoyed our stay at the Happy Place. The house was more than adequate for our extended family from age 64 to 10 weeks old. The home was well stock with anything needed to make a small appetizer or a large gourmet meal. The location was perfect for hiking and visiting some of local breweries. Also Jessica was quick to respond to questions before and after arrival. Would stay at the "Happy Place" again.

An absolute "happy place"

If you're looking for a gorgeous home away from home in the Brevard area, this is a perfect choice. The home is beautiful and impeccably clean. The kitchen had everything we needed, and then some. There are plenty of plates, bowls, silverware, & drinkware to accommodate a big group without running the dishwasher after every meal. The beds are so comfortable. Everyone in our party noted how well they slept, and the couple who stayed in the master bedroom hopes to replace their mattress at home with the same type of mattress they slept on here. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the sun after spending a day riding the trails. The surrounding property and community of Connestee Falls is so very pretty. And we joked, but you're only a quick 20 minutes away from just about everything. Dupont, Pisgah, downtown Brevard, the Hub, Oskar Blues, Ecusta Brewing Co--yep, all about 20 minutes away! We didn't get to check out all the hiking trails in Connestee Falls, however, the Amakola trail system is not to be missed! We have been to many National & State parks, & this was one of our favorite trails ever. In a 2.25 mile hike, we saw about 5 waterfalls, and the trail is so beautiful. Nothing is skimped on in this house. The owner has stocked it for her family, and we enjoyed the benefits--no dollar store silverware here! We highly recommend the Happy Place. You won't be disappointed!

High quality, peaceful, and beautiful home

Our daughter will be getting married at Pretty Place chapel in a few months, so we spent this weekend familiarizing ourselves with the area. We were very impressed with this house, and plan to book it again for the wedding week. Being located about half way between Brevard and the chapel, it is perfect for our needs. There is ample space for our family of seven, and it has enough space for a couple of bridesmaids as well. Our daughter will have plenty of space to get ready. The house was immaculately clean and had everything we needed. It has a high quality, peaceful and calming atmosphere, which is exactly what we were looking for. Our three sons were able to enjoy some excitement with the ping pong table and excellent mountain biking trails in the nearby mountains. We did not have time to enjoy the communities amenities on the trip, but we plan to when we go back.
