“It was a lovely property setting in rural Vermont. The room was nice with a very comfortable bed. It was incredible clean and had space outside for activities and sitting. Though it was quiet at night the upstairs guests could be heard when walking around and on a rare occasion when they were talking. I grew up in Vermont and know the area well. It has easy access to Shelburne and Burlington. I would stay here again when visiting family.”

“The Old Lantern inn felt like a home from home. Lisa, the owner is so friendly and the inn itself is beautiful and situated in park-like grounds. The room we stayed in was clean and very comfortable. The dining / sitting area downstairs is beautifully laid out and the perfect place to relax, eat the continental breakfast provided, chat to fellow guests, read or play games. The outside seating area is shaded and another beautiful spot and so peaceful. We enjoyed our stay here so much.”

“Honestly, after a number of disappointing stays recently, we weren't expecting much so we could avoid being disappointed. But, we were anything but. We were in the maple room, which had private access to outside, a nice living room, a small kitchen (no stove), a large bedroom and very comfortable bed, and a semi small bathroom that was laid out well. Loved there was a personal shower head. Everything was clean and well maintained. We were very impressed and happy with our stay. The lady who...

“Everything about the stay was excellent. Everything needed was provided and response from the hosts almost immediate. The property is in a quirky, but safe part of town. My only hesitation is parking can be interesting as it's entirely on-street, but we always found a spot no further than a block or two away.”
