“This place is an absolute gem (and the hosts are wonderful). Extremely clean and well-kept. The kitchen is well-equipped with a variety of cookware and bakeware (we even found a Belgian waffle maker), all in great condition. Beds are very comfortable (not too firm, not too soft) with soft linens. The owners really care for the property. Hosts were super responsive before and after. “The Luxury Moose Retreat was absolutely amazing!! I have stayed at several rental properties in Basye, VA over the years, but this one was outstanding. It's less than 1 mile from Bryce Resort. Drive way large enough for 6-8 cars. The kitchen is spacious, more than enough counter space, high quality utensils, pots, pans, gas stove, there's even a wine fridge! The bedrooms are spacious, bright, clean, beautiful. There was not a single thing during our stay that we were inconvenienced...

“We loved our stay here. The property was super clean and quiet. The hot tub and grill both worked as advertised. One thing worth mentioning is that the last mile of road in is a single lane, gravel road, that not only crosses through what appears to be a creek but is also quite steep and rocky. While we managed in a Tesla model 3, I wouldn’t advise it, particularly if it is wet. ”
