  • Welcome to King's River Cabin, a beautifully appointed log home nestled along the scenic Oconaluftee River. This two-bedroom, two-bathroom retreat offers an idyllic setting just minutes from both Downtown Cherokee and Downtown Bryson City. The thoughtfully designed layout features separate living spaces within the main residence and a private in-law suite above the garage, providing an ideal arrangement for couples seeking privacy or friends and families desiring ample space to connect.

    King's River Cabin is the perfect getaway for outdoor enthusiasts, particularly anglers and nature lovers. Conveniently located within 15 minutes of both the Deep Creek and Cherokee entrances to Great Smoky Mountains National Park, guests can easily explore the park's natural wonders. Enjoy the diverse shops and attractions of Cherokee and Bryson City before returning to the cabin to unwind on the screened-in porch, where tranquil views of the Oconaluftee River provide a serene backdrop for relaxation.

    Location: Bryson City- All Vehicle accessible, including motorcycles.

    Amenities Provided: Cabins include basic linens, kitchenware, and a starter supply of paper products and toiletries. Guests are responsible for additional supplies.

    Other Things to Note:
    o Minimum Age: Minimum age to rent is 25
    o Pet Policy: This cabin is pet friendly. We do charge a $75 (non-refundable) pet fee, per pet.
    o Wi-Fi: This cabin does not offer Wi-Fi, making it ideal for an off-the-grid getaway. Cell service varies by carrier, but complimentary Wi-Fi is always available in downtown Bryson City and at the Yellow Rose office.
    o Concierge Services: Grocery delivery, celebration packages, early check in/late check out. Additional fees apply. Based on availability and cleaning schedule.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was perfect and the place was very clean upon our arrival. The river is located right across the gravel road and you have beautiful view of the river from anywhere in cabin. The screen in porch was perfect for relaxing. If you plan on using the sofa bed I would recommend bring a air mattress because the mattress is worn and you can feel the springs but other than that the bedroom off the living room is very large with a nice king size bed and the apartment upon the garage is was beautiful with a porch you can sit on and enjoy your morning coffee. I highly recommend staying here.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We chose the cain as it is pet friendly and we were overwhelmed by how nice it was. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. That was a plus as we forgot a few things at home. The cabin is super comfortable and we enjoyed the yard and creek and especially the night sky. I definitely recommend this place as we were also so close to town and the national park.

Great stay

Check in was no problem and the process before check in was easy. During the booking process the staff was great and answered our questions and were very helpful. Overall it was relaxing and a wonderful place to stay

Coffee pot rusted, cabin needs good cleaning inside and outside had spiderwebs all over it, live roach was seen in bathroom, a very rough driveway pull off, flooring had lot of places needing repairs, hvac very loud, and a perk would have been furnished firepit wood bundle. The cabin was adequate size, nicely equipped, and comfortable.

Had to clean coils on downstairs cabin, a/c not working very well. Place was not very clean, but we enjoyed our time. After cleaning unit it worked great. Great location

So Pretty and relaxing

We did this trip for an older Persons Birthday Celebration, There was 4 of us and we had a very cozy Comfortable time. I would love to stay at this cabin every year everything was awesome loved being able to watch the river while sitting out by the Fire at night. only 5 min to get to Bryson City.

Trout haven

We had a wonderful stay. The property is beautiful. And dead in the middle of trout trout country. The host was very attendant to our needs and very informative. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. I would recommend this property to anybody.

This is a very safe place to bring your pups for a vacation. The close proximity to the river is fantastic as well. We did not use the upper bedroom, but it is very beautiful. We plan to come back here.

Loved the location and cabin but tvs didnt work, oven was broke and washing machine was broke.

This was our second time staying here. First time was great but this time there were many things that needed fixing.

Serenity at it's b

This cabin was amazing. Close to Cherokee NC and Bryson City. Lots of fun things to do. It's right next to the river. The dam is a short walk up the dirt road. People tubing and kayaking down from the dam. Perfect for fishing and pets too. We even saw two beautiful breathe taking Elk. Priceless memories!!!

Property could use some TLC porch Screens had holes in them and was full of cobwebs and spiders had to clean and spray for bugs could not use chairs until I cleaned them handles on pans loose I tightened most of them up and carpet in king room smells like pet urine with a lot of stains had to spray carpet deodorizer property management was notified. It's a great location lots of room view is awesome fishing was ok we had a good time enjoyed the morning coffee and afternoons on the porch nice and relaxing and quiet. Thanks for the hospitality and letting us rent the cabin

Wonderful Family Experience

Will absolutely be staying here again. It was my wife and I and 2 kids under 7 years old and it was perfect. Plenty of room outside for the kids to run and play, close to the river so we could fish, and very quiet. Woke up a couple of mornings to find elk walking across the river and through the yard. Highly recommend.

Kings cabin

Stay was good didn’t give instructions about how to get to the upstairs neighbor had to tell me where the key was grass wasn’t cut but overall a good stay
