Anniversary Trip

Great luxury yurt !

Great stay on our honeymoon! The hot tub and amenities were amazing. The property owner was quick to respond and easy to deal with. Would stay again there or the other couple properties they own!

A Little Piece of Heaven in the Woods

Such a charming and rustic place, nestled in the woods surrounded by nature. It was absolutely peaceful. Hot tub at night with the crickets and the stars was so relaxing. The yurt was extremely clean, the beds were so comfortable, and the wrap around deck was great for morning coffees. Host very responsive and accommodating. There’s so many places to hike and explore. Very close to a state park with waterfalls and trails. I definitely recommend taking a tube and floating down! Breathtaking scenery. 10/10 recommend this place and can’t wait to be back!

Loved this place!!

We had never been to the Smokey Mountains before, but the minute I saw this yurt and its glowing reviews online, I knew we had to stay here. I'm happy to say, it did not disappoint. The property was absolutely beautiful, inside and out. Everything inside the home was super high quality, and we appreciated all the special touches, like the extra thick throw blankets in every room. As nice as the inside was, we spent most of our time outside, either eating, playing games, or relaxing on the porch or warming up by the fire pit. I'm usually the task master on vacation, making sure everyone is up in the morning so we can get out and "do things." However, at this place, I had no problem letting everyone else sleep in, because my absolute favorite part of this vacation was sitting on the front porch by myself in the morning with my coffee, reading a book, surrounded by trees, cool temps, and enjoying the ultimate tranquility.....sigh. The location of the property was also great. I couldn't believe how close we were to the Smokey Mountain park where we hiked and tubed 2 days in a row since it was so close, convenient, and affordable. The other activities we did during our stay (river rafting and horse back riding) were further, but only 20 minutes away. This place really was perfect, and I'm so glad we chose it for our stay. If we ever come back to the area, we definitely want to stay here again.

Anniversary Extravaganza

Everything was wonderful, from the online check in to the hot tub to the check out. Entertainment was local or a short drive away and Bryson City is peaceful and relaxing.

Unique first fun experience in a Yurt

Enjoyed our Thanksgiving week with friends in this unique yurt. It sits high up on beautiful property with a nearby stream. Enjoyed the relaxing hot tub, cooked on the outdoor grill on the large wrap around covered deck. The house had all the amenities you could possibly need. They thought of everything! Very comfortable beds too. Also, amazing mountains all around. First class experience!

Peaceful, but still close to hiking and town.

We enjoyed being able to relax after riding the motorcycle for the day. Quiet and charming. We will definitely stay again if we return to Bryson City. Enjoyed being able to cook out on the grill a few times. Also a bonfire and the hot tub!

This place is so cute. Everything is brand new and so clean. Perfect location to the national forrest with multiple hikes and downtown to walk around shops and eat. We hope to be back one day.

Honey hide away

Theirs was a great spot for our 40th Anniversary! Close to entrance of Smokey Mountains. The decor, beds & location were top notch. Hot tub is nice after hiking & tubing. We will be back, thanks for such a great experience! Thanks for sharing this awesome place. Tom & Dee

Comfortable upscale Getaway

Comfortable and convenient to everything! Love, Love, Loved it all, cooking steaks (had many spices and seasonings) on the covered porch, seeing the wild turkeys, the comfortable king size beds, the big luxurious showers, the overall quietness of the area. It is a perfect place to explore the area with family or friends. Only 5 minutes to town for local restaurants. Walking down the streets feels like you are in Mayberry. With a train, candy shops and the beautiful river running through the heart of town. We had a picnic in the Smoky Mountain National Park (which was just down the road from the yurt) and went on an easy hike to the first two waterfalls. Loved watching the kids tube in the stream. We couldn’t ask for more!

Brand new cottage!

Loved the “new” cottage smell and the uniqueness of it. The design and decorations are great, appliances, TVs with Bluetooth, the area walking distance to the national park, etc. Highly recommend to everyone visiting.

One for the record books!

Very impressed with the entire experience at this property. First let me say that the place was immaculately clean and the furnishings were very up to date. This has not been our experience with other rentals in the Bryson City area. The serene atmosphere on the wrap around porch fit everything we needed for our getaway. Did not have a chance to use the hot tub , but it looked very well maintained and we would be excited to try it next time. We found the kitchen to be fully stocked with all the tools needed to cook our meal. The downtown area is super close without feeling like you are “in town” and we could just run in to get whatever we needed and be back very shortly. Loved every minute of it!!

Girls Trip

We loved the property. Nice quiet and comfortable. There were 4 of us and plenty of room. Would have loved to have a Bluetooth speaker but other than we have absolutely no complaints. Exactly as described. We plan to return soon!

Small mountain town getaway

Love staying here is Bryson City. First time in a yurt, but we really like it. Enjoyed the area and small town feel. Not near as crowded or noisy as Gatlinburg. Would definitely come back and stay again.

A beautiful yurt within walking distance to the great smokey mountains

I have never stayed in a yurt before, and didn't know quite what to expect, but from seeing the posted pictures I can confidently say that as good as they looked the yurt was even better in person! There's a fully equipped kitchen complete with a kurig and coffee pods for it, and many spices and extras that I've never had come included with a vrbo stay before. I made some fantastic steaks for me and my SO on the almost commercial gas grill that they had there as well, and we dined outside on a picnic table while taking in the beautiful blooming plants and trees nearby. We spent some time in the hot tub, as well as made a fire and had some s'mores for a late night dessert. I couldn't begin to say enough nice things about both the area, the smokies and the great hiking trails there, and the yurt and hot tub which helped our sore legs feel as good as our fantastic stay was. I highly recommend checking this out, there was another yurt also, but it was booked, but I would imagine it would have been just as nice as the one we stayed in. Thanks for the stay, and I can't wait to come back for a longer stay next time!
