“The Woodland cottage was perfect for our stay! The house was tidy, comfortable with great amenities. The host was incredible too. It was really convenient to take our son to the VMI open house. It was really close to Main Street and the town was amazing. Perfect place to wind down and relax after a long day exploring.”

I do feel like there could be some areas of improvement with cleaning as all the picture ledges, lamp shades and some of the walls have layers of dust and I’m not sure if the place was swept or vacuumed before we came. I understand it’s in the middle of the woods but the amount of living and dead stink bugs was astonishing!! Not sure if pest control could help that out since one fell on me on the couch oh and...

“Great place, idyllic. Be sure to get good directions from the host. 104 Fredericksburg rd took us the wrong way. Once we called and figured out where the entrance was we were good. Great spot.”

“We really enjoyed this home. It’s in a great location with several hikes nearby. Close to the Appalachian Trail. Monticello & Shenandoah are an hour away. It’s a very peaceful property. It’s very well stocked. Kuerig with k-cups, some seasonings, salt, pepper, etc. Little things you often don’t find in VRBOs anymore! The host was great with communication and checked in a few times to make sure all was well. We would definitely stay here again!”
