“It was a nice get away for our wedding anniversary. We were able to bring our dogs and use the private strip of beach a couple of cottages away. This was a great quiet trip. The only thing that could have been better is the AC in the cottage. A window unit is provided but with 90 temps it couldn’t keep up.”

“This was the perfect place to stay while visiting friends at Smith Mountain Lake! My husband and I brought our mini Aussie and there was plenty of space. The house was so well stocked with many appliances and a large refrigerator with an ice maker. It was updated and very cute. The hot tub under market lighting and the well stocked fire pit added to the friendly warm ambiance. I never saw or heard the neighbor next door. “The house was just the right size for 6 women ranging in ages 13-73. One bathroom was fine for all of us. The rooms were of good size and the fridge could fit so much food. Definitely would stay here again. ”

“This listing says cottage but it's an apartment. Be ready to go up stairs to get into it. The kitchen is small but fine. Everything works, but it's not especially well equipped for cooking. The coffee maker does not work. Our checkin was delayed for about 40 minutes when we arrived and we had no where to stay while waiting for our apartment. Wi Fi was very weak in the apartment and TV is like a hotel where there are certain channels available but no way to sign in to your own streaming accounts....
