“El Hotel es una auténtica maravilla!!! Lo primero que me sorprendió positivamente fue la atención recibida en recepción por los dos chicos que había (un chico español, Manuel, y otro chico inglés que no recuerdo su nombre).
La habitación muy bonita, limpia y ordenada con salida directa al jardín. Y además pude disfrutar de la piscina, el spa, la terraza exterior y el gimnasio. Súper súper!!! Muchas gracias!!! Para repetir mil veces”
“We had a fantastic time , Jenny is a prefect host. We arrived in the afternoon, used they pool and garden, then the next day she allowed us to use the pool again after check out time. Breakfast was delicious, the room was clean and cosy. It was a very hot day/night, she provided a fan and we managed to stay cool. Turns out she comes from my home town, so we had a lot to chat about. We just needed some peace and quiet to relax after a difficult week. Thank you Jenny for a wonderful stay.”
“Had a wonderful stay at The Retreat. Really relaxed atmosphere, gorgeous facilities and comfortable room. Only slight criticism was enough sun loungers by the outdoor pool, could definitely fit some more in so that people don’t have to sit on the grass. There was no one out there to ask for help, and it felt like there was no one really in charge. Same with the restaurant, it felt understaffed and so service was a bit lacking at times. But the staff who did serve us were very friendly....
“This is a good hotel for a stay of one or two nights. However, in general the building needs an update. Especially if I look to the price a paid for the room. The bathroom is clean but basic. The restaurant offers exceptable food. The breakfast is too basic (the bread is not good, nothing to choose, very basic and dry). The staff is very fiendly.”

My room was a long way away from reception with a confusing layout of lots of corridors and sections.
My Room was nice and clean however , minutes into me arriving to my room the toilet did not flush. Called down to reception twice with no answer then finally someone answered. Engineer came within 10 mins and had to pump the system to get it working. Not a great start to my break.
Staff were lovey but felt we had to wait sometime before being served...
