Casa nostálgica de la rectoría retro de los años 40

Decorado con estilo y perfectamente mantenido, rancho de los años 40 con todo lo que necesitas para sentirte como en casa. Tres habitaciones, 4 camas de lujo, (king queen y 2 gemelas) 1. 5 baños, cocina bien equipada con electrodomésticos modernos y decoración retro. Te sentirás como si estuvieras visitando la casa de tus geniales abuelos. Hay mucho para ver y hablar mientras exploras la decoración de los años 50, 60 y 70.
Burlington es una encantadora ciudad exurbana rodeada de tierras recreativas y agrícolas. Las encantadoras tiendas del centro están a pocos pasos. Antigüedades y artículos de segunda mano, así como comestibles gourmet, están todos dentro de los límites de la ciudad. Camine hasta el centro, restaurantes, tiendas y bares, a 50 pasos del paseo del río, patio y espacios de patio cubierto para disfrutar al aire libre.
Un montón de actividades recreativas al aire libre durante todo el año. Estamos cerca de senderos estatales, 3 pistas de esquí, dos ríos y docenas de lagos. El lago de Ginebra está a 10 minutos, Milwaukee a 45 minutos y Chicago a 90 minutos con 2 opciones de transporte en tren para evitar el tráfico. Perfecto para una escapada con novias, familiares o parejas.
Los viajeros de negocios adorarán nuestra ubicación e Internet rápido. Estamos a 20 minutos de viaje rural del campus de Foxconn.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Retro Rectory! The entire house was spotless, fully functional, and thoughtfully decorated. The young adults in our group were thoroughly entertained by the vinyls in the music room. Donna was super accommodating and let us know the day of that the house was ready for us and we were free to come early. Great neighborhood with walking path along the river, shops, and park nearby. Would stay again without a doubt!

What a delightful, clean, and comfortable home!....and talk about 1950's motif, right out of central casting, and very tastefully done at that.....and with all the modern features you need as well.Home is cozy and comforting but with plenty of elbow room.....and everything works to a T.The location is ideal.We communicated with our host Donna to introduce ourselves and go over general topics and she was very responsive, helpful, and welcoming.There were even Christmas decorations out, a very thoughtful bonus on Donna's part.We will return for certain.....

This was an amazing stay for my wife and close friends. The host was incredibly polite and communicated exceptionally well. Can’t say enough good things about this property and its owner. If you find yourself in or around Burlington, this property will feel much more comfortable and home-y than any hotel in the area.

Unique retro decor, on a quit street. It was easy to get to and had restaurants and stores nearby. Donna was easy to work with, communicated great and the house was clean cozy.

We loved the fun kitchy house! Very clean,quiet and close to the wedding venue we were heading to. The best part was the scavenger hunt!! 5 adults trying to find fun stuff listed in the house book.

Loved it

Like staying at a grandparents place :) Very welcoming and clean with so much character. The great location meant we didn’t need to drive anywhere. Nice walk to breakfast, ice cream, dinner, theater and trails.

Blast in the Past!

The property literally was a blast to the past! From the black and white checkered floor, to the Ronald McDonald cups in the kitchen! This quaint home located in Burlington, Wisc was easy to find and had all the comforts of home! Check in was a breeze and Donna was a gracious host, always available to answer questions!!

Family Wedding

Great location! We were within walking distance of downtown Burlington, which had a nice street festival taking place and was close to excellent food. In addition, we were just minutes away from the venue for a family members wedding. The place was clean and exactly what was described in the overview of the place. Would definitely stay there again!

Perfect Little House

This charming house was very clean and all of our accommodations were wonderful. We attended a wedding at Mercantile Hall just a few blocks away, so the location was perfect. It was walking distance to everything downtown: breakfast, dinner, bars, wedding hall, coffee shops. Our group of 4 was very comfortable but there was plenty of room for a couple more. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this house!

Retro Magic!

Donna is a wonderful host and the house was fantastic! Perfect location and just right for our group of 5…we were close to Lake Geneva for walking the shore line and other activities and we were able to go on a great bike ride right from the house. Next time we will definitely bring our kayaks and check out the Fox River. Thanks for your hospitality!

Clean, comfortable and cozy!

We had part of my daughter's wedding party stay here for my daughter's wedding this past weekend at Veteran's Terrace. They were so happy and said it was very clean, comfortable and cozy. They were also able to walk to all of the locations that were part of the wedding. It was a great alternative to staying in a hotel.

Perfect Place

This property was the perfect place for my daughter's wedding party. The directions were clear and the check-in process was easy. The house was comfy, and I loved the retro decor. The host was accommodating when there was a change in the number of guests.

Hotel alternative for funeral

The house was clean and comfortable. This was a first time doing this for me. I have some walking insecurity so an outside hand rail at the steps would have been helpful. The beds and bath facilities were fine for our needs. Others had left condiments in the fridge which was great and we liked the thoughtful extra packaged goods in the cupboards also, even if we didn't use them.

Very clean and adequately stocked for even for a family of 8. Close proximity to what you need and for the Mercantile for a wedding. Owner is very easy to get a hold of and communicates quickly. Thank you!!
