Really enjoyed our stay! Ping pong, darts, foosball kept kids entertained during the day, then hot tub and gas fire pit outside at night was the perfect wind-down after out days of hiking

Great location for a group getaway!

This property was everything we could ask for and more! It was clean and exactly as pictured. The game room was awesome to have with a group of us! The driveway is a little scary if you aren't use to mountains, but ultimately really not that bad compared to other driveways around. I loved everything about our trip and the town! Definitely one to save for your future trips!

Overall, it's a nice house in a remote setting. At least 30 minutes to anywhere of note. If that's what you're after it's great. Hot tub worked well and we al enjoyed it.

Wonderful cabin

What an amazing cabin for our girls weekend.The pictures do not do it justice. There is plenty of room to spread out and relax.The kitchen has everything you need. The hot tub was perfect . The cabin is located very close to the blue ridge parkway. We will definitely come back

The place was amazing exactly what we read online. Very clean and peaceful The only thing we didn't like was that there was not enough flat space or room outdoors to play corn hood but that was the only flaw. Communication was excellent

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST HOST, LOCATION, AND HOUSE

This was an amazing property. We go to North Carolina frequently, and this is the first time I will save a property to my favorites list. The pictures of the property do not do it justice. Quick details: Very clean. The cleanest VRBO we've stayed at. Looks brand new. Private (no one right next to you). You have the entire cabin to your self. The view is AMAZING from the living room. Beds are comfortable. Even though you are secluded in the mountain, you are located centrally to many hiking areas, restaurants, grocery stores, shops, etc. To repeat, if you like to hike, then this is the place to go due to the proximities of several locations (and to Mt. Mitchell). I look forward to returning!!!

We had a “beary” nice time.

Very nice cabin. Super clean, plenty of space. The drive way is little tricky but you are in the mountains. It’s close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and a short drive from the charming downtown Burnsville. Plenty of amenities like hot tub, fire pit, gas grill and games to play. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Great location

The house was perfect for our two families traveling to the area to hike Mt. Mitchell. The location was central to the park as well as Burnsville, which had some fun restaurants. The hot tub was relaxing after a long hike and the kids had fun in the game room. Great long weekend in the mountains and perfect weather! Thanks!

Highly recommend!

My friends and I planned a rather impromptu getaway to the mountains for a weekend and chose to stay at this house since one of my friends had stayed in it before with her family. Though we were onto there for two nights, we had a fantastic time! The house was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked, and it there was more than enough room for all of us. The hot tub and fire pit were definitely worth every penny as well. Not to mention the landscape around the house was gorgeous. I will note that the driveway is rather steep (though you can’t really avoid that in the mountains) so plan on doing some maneuvering if you bring 3+ cars. Lastly, the location was great with a nice beginner trail + waterfall just down the road and some more advanced trails within an hour of the house. All in all, I highly recommend this property! The owners are more than willing to help and always answered our inquiries promptly and professionally. To say the least, my friends and I plan on making our trip an annual occurrence at this same house.

Hellbender 100

Ran the Hellbender 100 May 6th. The house was the perfect place for family/ crew. Perfectly situated, furnished, with all the amenities. Hot tub was a God send after the run. Nearby restaurant at the golf course and an awesome little grocery store called Efflers..

Great experience

Beautiful setting, very close to Blue Ridge Parkway, a ton of room, and very clean. Loved watching the sunset behind the mountain range off front porch. Would love to stay here again.

Weekend Getaway

My siblings and I took our parents to this gorgeous cabin for a weekend getaway. We had the best time! A quiet and beautiful setting with multiple porches to enjoy the outdoors. The hot tub was glorious and just what we needed to relax. I highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be back!!
