“Really attentive staff at the bar a big thank you to Jack for serving us on Friday. Mixed reviews on the room, one couple moved because of noisy guests my upgrade given to another member of our group so that was annoying and only one charger working so not able to charge our car. Other guests being disrespectful to the adjoining property smoking out of the window ! Bed really comfy abc a fabulous shower and lovely toiletries. Bill needs to be a bit clearer as it’s not obvious what you have...

“I have stayed here before but always had a room overlooking the car park. This time I was on the other side and unfortunately the constant road noise did not make for a good nights sleep. The telly was also not working in the room but by the time I noticed I was already ready for bed so left it until the morning to let staff know.”

“A grand building set off a main road in a quiet village. Good parking in the front with additional parking in the rear if required. Very clean and well decorated in the reception area as well as the bar and lounge. I was warmly greeted and shown to my room. A very tasteful set up with a stylish bathroom. My room gave me a view of the front. The king sized bed allowed for a good night's sleep. There are plenty of dining options just a few miles around with Reading and Basingstoke in close...

“A wonderful hotel with serene green spaces in a royal atmosphere. I had to work overnight and the gentleman at night desk went above and beyond to help me with an additional TV screen and a place to work at. Simply unbelievably helpful and way beyond my expectations. My wife and kid had a great time in the gardens. I highly recommend this place if you´re out to get some relaxation.”
