Downsides were; I couldn't park in front of my room, they didn't turn the heat on untill I arrived and in the middle of winter the room was freezing, and very draughty due to the open slat bathroom windows (it was frigid in the morning). “Beautiful old hotel with loads of character and mountain charm. As with all older buildings they need maintenance to keep up there beauty…the Hydro Majestic could do with some minor repairs to maintain its historic charm. Definitely worth a stay and a casual drink at the Belgravia Bar next to fireplace.”

“Really nice open area for the kids to explore. The hosts were very accommodating and helped out with additional requests and even introduced our kids to the horses. Basic little huts, but very clean with all the right amenities. Perfect overnight spot to explore the Lost Kingdom conservation area”
