“I've stayed at Evenstar multiple times and always love our stay. It's a cosy granny flat that is well equipped for you to relax for a few days or use as a base to explore the area. Olwen keeps the house well maintained and stocked. Plenty of essential oil products to use, great coffee machine with beans. Kitchen is stocked with all sorts of tea and coffee. Plenty of cushions and blankets to really cosy up. Fire wood provided for the first night so you don't need to think, just light a fire and...

“Lovely cottage in great location. Short walking distance to shops and cafes and some hikes. Short drive to Katoomba and other popular hikes/destinations. Responsive host, great hiking suggestions. Easy check in and check out. Cottage was nicely decorated, comfortable beds, modern bathrooms, great heating for winter getaway. Some games, books, DVDs available. Lovely kitchen, pretty well equipped- only feedback would be to have pots and pans updated and to ensure oven/pots/pans are cleaned well...

“We were a group of mums craving a little peace, quiet and reconnection. It was our first child-free weekend in years and this cottage was exactly what we needed. Beautifully styled and cozy, it gave us the space to truly unwind. We even stumbled across a Sex and the City DVD, which turned our stay into the ultimate nostalgic girls' night in. Every detail felt thoughtful. We left feeling relaxed, recharged and already planning our next visit. Julie & Barry were also great in their communication!”

“Lovely house, clean and very well equipped”

“Everything as anticipated and exactly what we wanted for our weekend getaway. Cottage has a lovely ambience and all necessary facilities. Great location.”

“We stayed there for almost 3 weeks and loved it. Everything clean, comfortable and spacious. The nearby highway and railway tracks are noticed very few times a day, if at all, and are more than compensated for by the great and quiet view over the park the home is facing. Very central location when visiting the Blue Mountains. ”

“We loved our stay here and can't wait to return. The area is a short walk to the 3 sisters, but very quiet, even on weekends. The house is very spacious and comfortable. The beds are really comfortable! We loved the open fire. We didn't use the heating, so I can not comment on that. We closed the curtains in the afternoon and found the house stayed warm overnight in April. Joss was very responsive to any questions we had. Such a perfect home with perfect hosts. Thank you!”
