“This an older property with many recent updates. Most updates are pretty well done but a few could use a second look, such as my rooms carpet was new but was mis cut on one side leaving some exposed subflooring. The breakfast area is kind of small but the quality of food was a definite improvement over what most hotels offer for breakfast like scrambled eggs made from real eggs, bacon and the fresh baked cinnamon were awesome. Very friendly staff I would stay here again ”

“A good basic place to stay. It was clean and the accommodations while not fancy were exactly what we needed. We got a good night's sleep on a good mattress and were able to get on the road well rested and ready for a new day. We'll be back.”

“Super close to 1188 Brewing & DQ, directly behind The Outpost (3 meals and a bar). Very simple, a bit dated, but that’s not something I’m concerned with. Parking in front of the rooms so you can feel good about leaving your toys outside. ”

“Beautiful setting, welcoming staff, great breakfast, and all amenities thoughtfully supplied. The only thing that was not perfect for our party of three seniors and a son was that the private bathroom for our upper floor suite was on the lower floor and was accessed by passing through one of the upstairs bedrooms, and down a flight of stairs and the downstairs common room. However, the description did note bedrooms upstairs and bathroom upstairs, so it was my fault in not noticing this before I...

“The motel is nice, clean and the staff is very nice. The location is not so great since it is across the street from a truck stop. You are about 100 yards from the river but can't see it due to the truck stop. The motel is a good stop off place if you are driving.”
