Beautiful property and most comfortable bedding I’ve had outside my own home (including 4-star hotels). The breakfast was 5-star worthy. Worth the lodging price alone!! “I spent five days at the lodge. The staff is excellent. Most have been working at the lodge for 20+ years. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and bathroom was small but functional. I appreciated being able to open the windows at night for fresh air. The pub is first rate. I strongly suggest having breakfast there. “Stayed in the apartment at the rear of the property. What a great self contained area this was. Room was spotless and very well maintained. All staff from check in, bar and at breakfast were exceptional. Breakfast was included and was great and they are happy to adjust anything on the menu to suit. We had our dog with us and she was most welcome in the hotel too for a £10 a night supplement.”
