“It was exactly what I was expecting. I wanted a private, secluded cabin with amazing view of the Arenal Volcano. Wonderful porch to drink our coffee. Hummingbird feeders that brought in the birds. Perfect for our family of 4. Secluded yet close to grocery store, restaurants, and excursions. WiFi and streaming services worked great. I was nervous about no A/C. But we didn’t need it! Fans if needed but we just opened the sliding doors for a nice breeze. Also worried if my kids would miss not...

“Our family enjoyed our stay at Casa Armonia in La Fortuna. The house was the perfect size for our extended family of nine. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the back porch and watching the howler monkeys, toucans, and hummingbirds that visited us daily. Evan and Sylvia were great hosts that responded quickly with any concerns we had regarding the property. We also enjoyed a night hike at Papa's Place, which is conveniently located next door. “Lovely stay! Plenty of room and patio is very comfortable as well. Down the street from main property, so accessing other on-site amenities like the pool is not as easy. Booked through Expedia and received different messaging and instructions through both Expedia and VRBO apps. But VRBO instructions were very good. Guest must message host through VRBO to actually reach them.”

“For transparency sake, the two bedrooms are separate from the living/kitchen area, and they are set up like two basic hotel rooms. The kitchen has no stove or oven, but rather a two burner electric hot plate. But nevertheless, we were comfortable enough, even with the unique design. ”
