A 200 sq. ft. tiny house cabin with a cozy living area with plenty of seating, a small table for dining, a sink with hot and cold water, a small counter for fixing coffee or a small meal. Also an outdoor enclosed shower with hot and cold water. Cozy in the cool weather with a direct vent propane heater. In the winter because of freezing pipes, the shower becomes a camp shower and the sink, if the pipes freeze, water is provided. There is a private deck for relaxing and reading. The full bed is in a quiet loft. The toilet area (half bath) is separate from the tiny house; 4-5 yds from the front steps. It is well lit and heated. There is also a mirror and a blow dryer.
SLEEPING:
Full bed in a loft; ladder to access.
COOKING:
A small counter with kitchen tools for fixing coffee/tea and simple meals. There is a butane burner for heating water or meals in a pan. A cooler is provided with cold blocks that will keep food cold for 5 days.
CELL SERVICE/ INTERNET:
The property has fast, strong cell service but no Internet service.
OUTDOOR ACTIVITY
The private patio off the apartment is spacious with outdoor seating for lounging and eating. There is also an outdoor fire pit. Wood is available.
You have access to the `Secret Garden` at the top of the property (signs will guide you). This is a tiered garden that my parents created before `green` was even thought of. They reused materials from the house and also tires to create walls, paths and special places for sitting peacefully or meditating or just reading. You will not be able to tell you are in a small town but feel like you are in a forest.
SURROUNDING AREAS
Downtown Canton, a 15 minute walk, has a relaxing brewery on the river, a great used bookstore on main street with comfy couches along with Papertown Coffee right down the street. Jros and Grateful Table on the same street have great food. 20 Minutes to the east is Asheville, and 15 minutes to the west in Waynesville, you’ll find dining, coffee, music, and nightlife. The Blue Ridge Parkway has hiking trails, 20 minutes away, and Great Smoky Mountains National Park is just an hour away. Lots of mountain biking in Asheville or a new park opening up right outside Canton (Chestnut Mountain).
No smoking or vaping anywhere on property. We love animals but cannot accommodate pets at this time. The owner is allergic to pet hair and is the main person to clean tiny house. Only those who have rented can be on property; no guests unless pre-approved with owner. No events.
Guest access You have your own parking spot. You will have private access to the deck. The `Secret Garden` is shared with the owner or guests at the `Secret Garden` apartment on property. The neighborhood is quiet and close to downtown Canton. You can walk or drive to a coffee shop, a few restaurants, hair salons and a local bath products store. 1. No smoking, e-cigarettes or vaping or illegal drugs on property or in units.

This is essentially a lot like camping. There is no refrigerator, the shower is outside on a deck so plan for that when it’s cold, the bathroom is also not in the house. The toilet is in an outhouse in the yard. You may also want to bring extra towels if you were staying more than one day because they only gave us one set of towels. Our lantern, which was our only source of light in our bedroom, in our bedroom was out of batteries. One of the lamps downstairs also did not work. The only way to cook is on a butane torch camping stove. Also pack light because it is indeed a very tiny home. If you are into camping, it is basically a similar experience.

Perfect Asheville area Basecamp
We explored Asheville, Hendersonville, and the nearby Pisgah ntl forest and this was a great basecamp at a super reasonable price near all those places. Great host and neat spot for two smallish people, wouldn't be ideal for anyone over 6'.

This place was great to stay at! It has a beautiful "secret garden" and a very relaxing porch and outdoor shower! The only problem was that the host didn't know much about the place, and had to ask us to send a picture every time we asked a basic clarifying question. There is also no mini-fridge, and the electric cooler there is broken, so you have to go get ice which sucks. The host did offer to reimburse us for ice, but it was definitely a hassle to go and get it and empty the cooler. A mini-fridge or working electric cooler would be a great addition. But otherwise this place was great, would recommend!

Cute little place
Near where I needed. Cozy. I enjoyed my stay.
Not really for us tall folks, though. I’m 6’6” and felt a bit cramped.
