Perfect getaway

This was the perfect getaway for our families to enjoy!!! SO much room for everyone to have their own space but also enough room to enjoy time together! With the porch, kitchen table, sectional…SO roomy and comfortable! We will definitely stay here again!

Great for Get Togethers

Had family and friends stay for Super Bowl weekend… perfect house for such. Clean, well appointed, and great location on the beautiful Canyon Lake.

Awesome view with lots of amenities

Nice place with lots of sleeping space. Loved the outdoor seating on the deck. Updated decor. Good communication with host. Game room could have a fan but fun hangout.

Amazing Canyon Lake House

We had a memorable time at this beautiful Unwound Lake Property. The house was well equipped, well maintained, impeccably clean and nicely decorated. The kids appreciated the treats left over the wine fridge and the multiple board games and game room. We would not hesitate return to this property.

A three generation family vacation in a great place!

We all from *80's to 12 year old enjoyed our stay and had a great time. The place is lovely and we enjoyed being inside it and outside of it and all found something to keep us busy or relaxed. We just got home today but are already talking about going back to that same house next year for our next family vacation. The art and signs, etc and the decor is lovely and adds to the pleasure of being there. Thanks for all the help with getting it, directions on what to do and making us fee; at home in there. Hope to be back Gerry Louise Jump

Amazing views and space! Will come again!

This home was exceptional! Views for MILES! We loved the two separate living and dining rooms to spread out! Guys watching football on one big screen and girls watching movies on another. All while the kids stayed hid away playing in the bunk room and gameroom downstairs! We were so close to the boat ramp and marina and the restaurants around there were great! But the kitchen had everything we needed! Oh and the coffee bar, wine bar and wet bar were awesome and the beds were comfortable! We loved staying at Unwound!

Eclipse Destination

We stayed during the solar eclipse. The property was great - clean, spacious, and well appointed. If I could change one thing it would be the benches at the table. They are uncomfortable for long game playing sessions, and difficult to manage if you are older like many of us are. Tim the property manager was knowledgeable and responsive. It’s a five star in my book.

A/C needs updating

No gas in grill and 3 extra propane bottles were all empty. The regulator to the grill was also broken. Tim did get us a charcoal grill by by the time we got it and had the coals ready to cook on it was way to late for the kids. The next day they repaired the grill and got us a full tank of propane. The AC system is not adequate for the upstairs and although 2 of the rooms have window/portable units, 2 of the rooms have nothing and it was hot. Other than that the house is roomy and worked, would not return in the summer, which is when it’s best to enjoy the lake. The view was nice.

Amazing!

Amazing! We loved the space of having two social areas inside with plenty of seating, plus an outside porch that looks onto the lake (with 10+ seats), while kids have their own space downstairs. Plenty of beds, of which are very comfortable. Three private rooms for adults and bunk room for kids. Multiple things to do… bring a boat and get on the beautiful Canyon Lake water (boat ramp just around the corner), play pool, pingpong, arcade, gaming device, or just sit and relax (which was my favorite). We also loved feeding the deer in backyard and from the front porch. Kitchen had everything needed for a long weekend stay. Bonus points for the coffee bar. Downstairs fridge was a plus for all of the drinks and snacks. We will be back to enjoy many more days relaxing on the water and sitting on the porch. ** This house has plenty of parking, I think we had 5 cars in driveway at one time. Also is pet friendly with a fenced in backyard with electric gate! **Concert venue not far from house has top notch performers . Upon our return during the summer we plan to go float the river.

Great place to Unwind!

This home was a great escape! Spacious and comfortable enough to host a big group for the Labor Day weekend. We had 14 people and still didn’t bump into each other. The view of the lake is absolutely gorgeous! The covered upstairs balcony was the perfect place for a morning cup of coffee and an evening dinner. Close enough to the marina but also quiet and relaxing. Loved the privacy and all the room for everyone. Plenty of parking space too! :-)

WOW!!!

This place is absolutely fantastic!! The views, the layout and vibe of the whole property. It is only a couple of blocks to a boat ramp at the lake, which you can clearly see from just about anywhere on the property.. It is fully equipped with everything you would need for a large group to have great time and be comfortable for as many days as you can stand. The beds are very comfy, the large furniture is comfortable and inviting. There is tons of parking in the front and back of the house that easily fit all of our vehicles and a boat, and the gated entrance made us feel secluded and safe. The owners obviously did not spare any time or expense making this house the perfect rental. My family didnt want to leave. We will be back for years to come!!
