Wonderful stay! The home is beautiful and well stocked. Our only disappointment was with the construction across the street, as there were orange barricades and fencing that obstructed the view for our lower unit and the crosswalks for direct access to the beach were closed. The home itself, though, is very comfortable and beautifully appointed. The location is perfect!

We all loved this beach house. The location was great, being directly across from the ocean and two houses down from the crosswalk to the beach! We traveled with children ages 2, 4, and 6 and all walked to the beach and down the stairs just fine. The home was well appointed and comfortable for our needs. Nick and Elisa were quick and easy to communicate with. We had a wonderful week!

This home exceeded our expectations….Beautifully decorated, incredibly maintained, and well supplied to meet all of our needs. The location is one of the best in Carlsbad with convenient beach access and still walking distance to town. This is a very spacious house that is as lovely as pictured.

Location - Location - Location!

An absolute wonderful 4 night stay here! Couldn’t be closer to the beach. Super easy beach access. House was clean, had plenty of room, beautifully decorated, and had all the necessary accommodations. Loved staying here… and besides the occasional obnoxiously loud cars &/or motorcycles speeding by the front porch, the house was perfect!

Great location, good house, ok host experience

The location of this home is amazing! Right across the street from steps to the beach & a short walk to town. The house itself was nice, a few snags with certain amenities (we planned to grill dinner & had confirmed ahead of arrival the outdoor bbq worked - it did not, master bed mattress needs an upgrade). Very disappointed with our initial check-in experience, I paid $50/hr for early check-in, upon arrival the house code did not work which resulted in not being able to check-in until 90 minutes after agreed upon early check-in time which required resetting the door code. Property manager lacked any sort of customer service as they placed blame on me for not immediately calling for help, as a result they only refunded a small portion of the early check-in (30-minutes vs 90-minutes). This felt very short sighted given the issue was an error on their part, I paid for something I did not receive. The property manager insinuated I did not arrive to the property at the time I said I did, I asked them to pull camera footage to prove the time I arrived as accurate which they did not. As a result, our experience started off poorly & made us feel as guests we weren't a top priority, instead getting every dollar out of us was more important. I wish that would've been a more welcoming & thoughtful interaction but overall we still had a nice time during our stay.

Best beach house!

This was the best beach house! It had everything we needed plus more. The rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated. The beds were super comfortable too. We will come back. I highly recommend this place.

Perfect beach house

I really can’t even find the words for this place. We couldn’t believe how wonderful it was when we first got there. The location and the house were everything we hoped for. It just felt so good to be there. We loved the town and the beach right in front of the house. The house was amazing. The WiFi was pretty bad but other than that the place was perfect.

Beautiful Beach Home!!!!

The stay here was amazing! Our family had a wonderful time at the home and the easy access to the beach. The home had everything you needed. It was very clean too! The owners were so nice and checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Not many owners do that. It was so relaxing hearing the sound of the waves from rhe ocean and hanging out in the front yard! Great place to people watch. The access to the beach was so close and easy to get to. We will be back!! Thank you for everything!!

Wonderful summer home

The house is stunning. We were 6 adults and a baby. So much room and very well appointed. Right across the street from the water. The upstairs “mini suite” was very special. Definitely would return

Fantastic Week in Carlsbad

The property is beautiful. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces are just as lovely and comfortable as the pictures show. We loved being so close to the beach and within easy walking distance to Carlsbad Village. Our communication with the host was clear and timely. We would love to return and highly recommend this rental.

This was the perfect place for our family of four. It's walking distance to Carlsbad Village which has wonderful restaurants and shops, plus it's along the waterfront. The beach and crosswalk is steps away. They had beach chairs, umbrellas, and even beach toys to borrow. It was spacious enough for us to have some space to work while on vacation. The TV was streaming-service-enabled so if you have Netflix you can sign in (and they remind you to sign out on their check out list). Everything was clean, plenty of dishes and silverware, wifi worked well. Check in was a breeze, check out was a breeze. I had a request for them, and Alicia and the owners helped out right away, without even asking us to be there. It was such a wonderful visit and we are coming back :)

Coastal Cottage by the sea.

This is no small cottage and is stunning. It is or at least appears to be professionally decorated. No need to go out to a restaurant because you have a direct view f the setting great appliances and everything there for you to create a wonderful meal. Truly a wonderful experience from the moment I began interacting with the property manager Laurie to watching the sunset as a family. My kids are 18 and 19 and loved it.

Outstanding Beach House

We stayed five nights with our two young adult children and could not have been happier. The pics look great, but it’s much better in person. The interior design and decor were unbelievably beautiful. There were so many amenities and little touches, including all the beach gear anyone would need. We had breathtaking ocean and sunset views both from inside and from the outdoor living area. Laurie, the property manager was responsive and helpful, the whole process was very easy. We highly recommend this property.
