“Unfortunately stayed on a weekend with a wedding, where we were on the first floor above the disco. There's non existent sound proofing and sticky doors that slams as you try to close them. Beware there's also no air con or fans. On the plus side, we had a nicely renovated room and the staff were friendly. We would have loved to have used the spa facilities but the swimming pool closed at 8pm and the spa was closed at that bank holiday weekend.”

“Lovely hotel, amazing views”

“Lovely big, clean room with a sofa, table, chairs, huge bed and a gorgeous view. Loads of parking and a nice garden to enjoy. All the staff were very friendly, efficient and very helpful. The evening meal, Chicken Supreme, was fantastic and so was the breakfast (porridge with blueberry compote). I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and can't wait to stay again.”

“A special stay in a friendly and professional hotel. From a friendly welcome through to the young staff on in the restaurant and housekeeping delivering excellent service combined with that pop of extra friendliness that gives the 5 star rating. Beautiful surroundings and roams around the propery.”

“Breakfast was ok but items on menu extra had to be paid for. Room was clean but dated. Shower was an electric shower that was nearly unusable. Low pressure and no temperature control. No replacement shower gel was left after room was cleaned. Staff were excellent and restaurant was well presented. Hotel room a low 3 star at best.”
