The Good:This 3 bedroom townhouse overlooks Lake Tahoe with the Tahoe National Forest creating its backyard. The development itself has fantastic amenities. We used the pool, hot tub, and the community barbecue but it has more we didn’t use. (Tennis, billiards, etc.) It is walking distance to Garwoods and the lake. The kitchen is well equipped. The management team was responsive when we had a problem. The Bad:The bathrooms are a bit small and in need of an update. The deck is more like a balcony as it cannot fit more than two people. The living room is a bit small and is not conducive to much entertaining… as in more than two people. The barbecue on the deck is not a barbecue. It is a small electric plug-in Ninja Grill. Luckily, the one barbecue at community center was open when friends came with steaks. For what you’re paying, it would be nice if they could leave you some starter amenities, like coffee or shampoo. Overall:For the most part, I would highly recommend this townhouse for a couple or a small family with a little dog. It worked really well for my wife and I and our mini schnauzer. We did have a few visitors throughout the week (my wife’s parents and a couple we are friends with). They were all comfortable with their own accommodations downstairs with a private bathroom. The main bathroom’s tub was clogged when we got there, but Trey had it fixed the same day. For the price, it is certainly no bargain but, overall, we would absolutely stay here again.
