    You can lay low and cook all your own meals or eat right around the corner at Walker's Bluff.

    Our goal is that you leave refreshed after spending time in nature and in the beautiful wildflower camper.

    Some of our favorite hiking sites in Southern Illinois are not far away and if you want to hit the wine trail you can begin just minutes away!!

    Cozy up with the book you have been meaning to read or binge on movies - just leave the stress behind!

    Hangout by the campfire- in fact, keep a fire going all day!

Glamping

This was the first time we stayed here and we absolutely loved it! It's clean, quiet and peaceful. The camper and campground had everything we needed. Right by the lake. The host Kevin was very nice and helpful. We will definitely be back. Great place to get away and relax.

We’ve really enjoyed the stay. Beautiful hidden gem that me and my family really loved it. From the cleanliness to communication with owner it’s exceptional. Kevin is really helpful. We definitely come back here in future stay.

Very nice, secluded. Pretty. Camper was very clean and nice. Ticks were a problem, unfortunately, but other than that, it was a very nice stay.

Great Weekend Away

Our family of three booked for a weekend away and this place delivered. We had a great time hanging out at the pool and building a campfire. Hosts were super responsive. Would book again!

Relaxing retreat

The area was quiet with a nice lake view. Short drive to Restaurants and SIU. The camper was very clean and beautiful. It was comfortable for 2 adults and 2 teens. We would definitely stay again.

Mice droppings in many of the kitchen drawers Woke up to an overflowing toilet that flooded the entire camper. (The owner knew that a piece needed to be replaced upon our arrival and didn’t) The owners dogs runs freely amongst the camp sites and if your dog doesn’t gay along well with other dogs, I suggest you leave yours at home The 3 small kids that live there also roam freely. If you have kids of your own, you’ll probably have their 3 kids hanging out the whole time Unfortunately, i was not the only renter who was really disappointed by the cost and overall experience. If privacy is something you’re looking for, save your $ and keep looking.

The weekend was everything we hoped it would be. A peaceful camper tucked away off the beaten path. Kevin was fantastic in insuring we had everything we needed. Location was prime. Looking forward to a weekend there in the warmer months.

Perfect getaway

I brought my son and dog down to enjoy the area and to watch the eclipse. The location was quiet but close to everything. The morning view over the lake was beautiful, and the camper was beyond comfortable. Our host was also incredibly kind and made sure we were well taken care of.
